I quite like this deck, especially the combo of Invisible StalkerMTG Card: Invisible Stalker and Curse of Stalked PreyMTG Card: Curse of Stalked Prey! Nice, +1 from me! What do you think of this deck: deck:mad-scientists-deck?

a mana leaked huntmaster would just save your whole field or Day or black sun ..cuz you have no control for what your deck fears most

adam11 says... #7

yea I own three Snapcaster MageMTG Card: Snapcaster Mages so I could probably work them in there, what type of substitutions are you talking about? If you would mind elaborating

February 27, 2012 6:45 p.m.

The_Imps says... #8

thats the hard part..cuz your deck look like it will run pretty solid as is..id leave the main borde how it is..rail them..then game 2 when they bring in their Bored wipes youll be handy with snapcasters n leaks(<or flash freeze dam wolfrun..) (gut shot n dagger out)

hows the land base? cuz morland haunt is an awsome counter to the control match up if your land base allows it its AWSOME

February 27, 2012 6:58 p.m.

adam11 says... #10

Yea I like your suggestions a lot, I understand what your saying completely. I will defiantly add those cards into my side board and I will try working with the lands to see if morland can be added, another great suggestion.

"Volt Charge Gut Shot and Shock are all to help with the bloodthirst" the bloodthirst of 3 creatures? kind of a bad reason to run them. not saying they shouldnt be in here...there are just better things to use them for

with only ten instant/Sorceries.... then add 4xShrine of Burning RageMTG Card: Shrine of Burning Rage.

February 28, 2012 8:41 p.m.

tcoene21 says... #16

I disagree with the shrine of burning rage suggestion. I had a mono red with 4x shrines and they weren't even worth it in that deck. theyre only good if you get them out early and if you get them out early than your wasting a crucial opportunity to get a creature out to start getting it pumped, but i agree with the 4x thrummingbirds, nasty combo

March 1, 2012 11:56 a.m.

Minousmancer says... #17

tcoene21 the reason you run 4xShrine of Burning RageMTG Card: Shrine of Burning Rage is so you can get one out early and the rest are used to waste their counterspells and artifact destruction. Here is an example of a good RDW(red deck wins) strategy deck deck:olivias-bloodhall it's about having the right creatures/spell base.

shrine would be decent in this deck because of the proliferate. and shrine always fucks my day up when im playing a rdw

March 1, 2012 1:44 p.m.

adam11 says... #19

I like the suggestion a lot, i did not think about the proliferating of the shrine, defiantly a major plus in this deck, thank you for your suggestions

March 1, 2012 2:09 p.m.

tcoene21 says... #20

yea i didnt notice the proliferate helping the shrines either, still iffy about them though

March 1, 2012 7:06 p.m.

Minousmancer says... #21

I think, Shrine of Burning RageMTG Card: Shrine of Burning Rage is over powered, broken even, a Mono-colored deck should not be able to dominate the field and that is what RDW, can and does do. I also feel all the other colored Shrines are so underwhelming in their power in comparison.

mmazach says... #22

agreed, theoretically it increases the damage of each of your burn spells by one

March 2, 2012 2:36 p.m.

mmazach says... #23

and ha the effectiveness of a curse that does a damage a turn...again theoretically

March 2, 2012 2:38 p.m.

mmazach says... #24

i feel like you dont have enough land...especially with the 5 double red three drops

March 2, 2012 2:39 p.m.

Minousmancer says... #25

Yeah, I'd add a MountainMTG Card: Mountain I don't know what to take out though, maybe play test it a few times.
