Good luck getting Delver to flip with only 10 Instants/Sorceries. Most Delver decks run closer to 30.

And I love all the random tags this deck has. Apparently, it's both Aggro and Combo, it's RDW, and it has Storm in it. Which is does not.

Hahaha i was kidding tyler, and @zandl the delver flips more than you would think with the ponders in my deck, you just have to know how to play them at the right time so that they are not out on the field for too long and so that they are not sitting in your hand for too long, you just play delver the turn before you have the highest draw odds of an instant or sorcery, and plus, even though the delver does not flip as much as i would like it to, it still flows very nicely with the deck being a 1 drop and a human and having the ability to becoming a large creature by mid game. And it is both agro and combo. its probably not RDW and i just tagged it with U/R storm because it is a U/R deck. I dont see why you even had to mention it considering your not giving me any constructive criticism. I did not label it as a delver deck did i? so telling me what most delver decks run doesnt help me too much. I actually do appreciate your comment though, and i should actually have more instants/sorceries in here but i cant find room.

See? I gave you constructive criticism.

And the U/R tag you're looking for is "Izzet".

I was asking for advice on what to add in for instants or sorceries and what i should take out...

March 4, 2012 6:34 p.m.

Minousmancer says... #10

In that case for starters, I'd take out your and 2xIncinerateMTG Card: Incinerate. There is five to start.

@Minousmancer what is your reasoning behind saying that Markov BlademasterMTG Card: Markov Blademaster is my weakest creature? Unless i interpreted the rules wrong, if i have a curse on my opponent and his damage lands doesn't he become a 5/5? because of the double strike he picks up two counters from the curse and two counters from himself? i think that that is pretty amazing and pretty spot-on for the theme of this deck. I would like to here what your reasoning is so please respond to this post.

But it's a 1/1 for double-Red and another 1. It's just too susceptible in a world dominated by Gut ShotMTG Card: Gut Shot, Tragic SlipMTG Card: Tragic Slip, and Black Sun's ZenithMTG Card: Black Sun's Zenith.

a one drop that can attack as a 3/2 flyer turn two, yes please. Markov BlademasterMTG Card: Markov Blademaster same ability/power as Stromkirk NobleMTG Card: Stromkirk Noble but a 1RR drop and can bee blocked by humans, good card but the weakest of the seven different creatures you have, pricy to cast for an ability another cheaper creature you have has. I'm not saying it's bad just the others are stronger.

adam11 says... #15

Yea i kind of understand what you are saying, my only arguement is that Stormblood BerserkerMTG Card: Stormblood Berserker hasnt done me too well in this deck so far and delver doesnt seem to flip much so do you think i should still take out Markov BlademasterMTG Card: Markov Blademaster and put in instants/sorceries?

March 5, 2012 8:49 p.m.

Minousmancer says... #16

Then replace Stormblood BerserkerMTG Card: Stormblood Berserker where I said Markov BlademasterMTG Card: Markov Blademaster, I hate him, and she's my desktop.

Is there a way to up Artful DodgeMTG Card: Artful Dodge up to 4? It seems essential for getting your Markov BlademasterMTG Card: Markov Blademaster through and on it's way to pump-ville.

March 7, 2012 3:07 p.m.

adam11 says... #19

Possibly, but i have found that with the flashback effect it is almost like having 3 or 4 Artful DodgeMTG Card: Artful Dodges. I have drawn into it at too many crucial moments for me to consider putting in 4, but maybe 3, i havent perfected my numbers yet

Nightbird's ClutchesMTG Card: Nightbird's Clutches works well for that...

March 7, 2012 3:32 p.m.

mmazach says... #21

ive found unning two ofs is pretty much useless...ild take out gut shot...and put in an artful dodge and a phoenix

March 7, 2012 3:32 p.m.

adam11 says... #22

@minousmancer Nightbird's ClutchesMTG Card: Nightbird's Clutches does not seem like a great fit for this deck in my opinion because i do not usually have more than 3 creatures attacking and Nightbird's ClutchesMTG Card: Nightbird's Clutches just takes away blockers, it does not make your creature unblockable. In my opinion Artful DodgeMTG Card: Artful Dodge is a lot better because it cost less to play, less to flashback, and it guarantee's your damage will land instead of give a better chance of your damage landing. And on top of all of that i have no room to add a card like that in.

March 7, 2012 4:08 p.m.

Minousmancer says... #23

I suggested it for two reasons, early game advantage, and it is a red with Flashback.

March 7, 2012 4:11 p.m.

adam11 says... #24

Yea I understand, but in my opinion, artful dodge is even earlier game than nightbird's clutches, and even better flashback, but thank you for the thought. I have made some major adjustments to my deck, let me know what you think.

March 7, 2012 4:17 p.m.

Minousmancer says... #25

I'm not suggesting replacing, it.
