So..... what do you do with quicksilver that makes you always win? I know it's a very good card, but what exactly is the beats everything combo that you try to pull off? Is it to use your general to keep it alive and put all of your fatties on the field then attack, or there something more? Also, what is the boardwipe for?

I'm just a little confused and too new to the game to know the popular combos I'm probably missing.

Oh, no, this really doesn't combo per say. If you want a combo deck that will make friends and family hate you check out Bounce into Oblivion by FreedomWaffle.

What this deck revolves around is simply killing everything on the board, dropping quicksilver amulet, bringing one of the many resurrecting creatures to play, bringing everything of yours back for free, leaving everyone else naked in the spotlight.

My best play with this deck was turn two World Queller, and I won a tournament with that. People really hate it when you destroy their lands. They really do. With Crucible, You can bring that land back, and rek face.

I know this doesn't sound like "Oh, I combo and win," No. I don't personally like those decks cause you win in one turn, and with my play-group, with EVERYONE running that style, I just can't stand comboing one-turn-win.

This deck is voltor; Sling around protection to keep all your fatties alive.

This deck is Resurrection; just encase you want to board wipe without Avacyn on the table.

This deck is just fun. If it works

Which I think is the best part. I didn't want to build a deck that always wins. I don't play competitively, and always winning just isn't fun. Having a challenge, doing fun things. That's what this deck is based around.

Thanks for the catch... I guess Talisman was still in there when this deck still had blue. Swapped for Chrome Mox

Rally the Ancestors looks interesting, and definitely deserves a place in the maybeboard. Depending on the meta you're playing in.

Also, there are no infinite combos, but there are definitely some... interesting combos, such as having Sun Titan, Admonition Angel, Martyr's Bond and Crucible of Worlds on the board, playing Flooded Strand, playing two lands (Flooded strand and the land card you searched for), exiling two target permanents, making them sacrifice a land, then Sun Titan into that fetch land, playing it again, then fetching for another land, exiling two more permanents and then making them sacrifice another land.

You end the turn with 3 plains, untapped, 4 Permanents exiled, and 2 lands sacrificed from all other opponents.

Changed Heliod, God of the Sun for Baneslayer Angel, and also changed Gauntlet of Power for Magus of the Tabernacle for obvious reasons. And Gideon, Champion of Justice has been changed for Mana Web, just to make people hate you more.

NOT STAX ENOUGH!!!

Needs Banisher Priest(-like effects) and maybe... Lotus Vale?

Mangara of Corondor if you don't have him

Oh, and Containment Priest

Thanks again for the suggestion. I'm definitely adding Lotus Vale just because I have so many ways to play lands from the graveyard with this deck.

Banisher Priest I don't know about this, as I don't want to remove anything now. Angel of Serenity does a better effect, and Admonition Angel does that same effect except with every land hitting my board.

Edit-

Mask of Memory has replaced Pearl Medallion because this deck needs draws, and discarding cards like Iona, Shield of Emeria, Reya Dawnbringer and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite Is beneficial because of all the Resurrection that can occur with this deck. Unless of course, you play Containment Priest But there are ways like Magus of the Tabernacle and Karmic Guide combined with Emeria, The Sky Ruin to sac Containment, bring back one of the larger drops, like Reya, to resurrect even more the next turn. And with this deck, you'll have plenty of mana to make sure you don't have to sac what is necessary.

I gather your strategy is to play a big gun BEFORE you bust out your Commander, and also before your opponents bust out a big gun?

I would've thought you'd need to run more nonland sources of mana with your strategy. That would help both get big guns out early and leave you with the most mana if your general is out.

@purplebackpack89 Yeah. That's the general strategy. Drop something terrible and then make it so that no one else can do anything about it. Ever.

Because of the limitations (Especially budget-wise, as well as rule constrictions,) I've added the some of the better non-land mana ramp, as well as some lands that tap for extra. As well as making lands tap for extra, so you tap for 2 instead of 1, and with land tax, you tap 4 every turn thanks to the land drops.

The commander is more or less a threat tool, a chump blocker (because lets face it, if he dies, you're helped more than your opponent as long as you block with him, not attack), and a very, VERY inadvertent draw mechanic. Lets face it, if no one does anything for 5 turns because of him, then that's 5 turns of draw, and possible hit-face-with-commander turns.
