Thanks for the recommendation, Psychic! That's definitely a great point. Normally I'm not a huge fan of cards that give extra turns (or in this case, combat steps) but I could see myself using it in a "do or die" situation like you said. I'll keep her in mind! Thanks again.

as long as you're attacking all the time, Invasion Plans lets you make all their creatures fall right into a token, and have the rest of your board go unblocked, and as long as you run invasion plans, you have to run Infiltration Lens for that sweet sweet card draw combo (the effect happens equal to the number of blockers)

Slate of Ancestry might just be the single most powerful card engine in your deck, Skullclamp has a similar effect as well. Trust me, boros decks need card draw whenever they can get it

Crescendo of War is a pet card of mine, Incredibly powerful even if it only sticks for a few turns

I like your build! I just started looking for inspiration for an Iroas deck--seems like everyone at the LGS has a "God" deck. I was wondering if you had considered Citadel Siege or Avacyn, Angel of Hope?

Thanks sanddeviljack! To be honest, I haven't considered either of those. I think Citadel Siege is a little underwhelming, and for me Avacyn, Angel of Hope is a little out of my budget range (for now). But I can see how she would do well in this deck, if I were able to cast her. I think she may be difficult to cast mana-wise, especially since ramping is hard and if she gets countered that wouldn't be a lot of fun. Those are just my thoughts though! Thanks for the thought!

Understandable. Perhaps Jazal Goldmane or Sublime Archangel would be better fits with the token theme. You've obviously got me thinking.

You make a good point, Odric_Magnusson. The reason I didn't include Ajani Vengeant is because the only use I would get out of him would be his -3. I don't think his +1 is very good, and his ultimate is a big no-no in my playgroup. Although he is very good, I think the deck works just fine without him.
