No Ghostly Prison, Silent Arbiter, or Crawlspace?

Thats a great way to abuse one of the two abilities of my commander. Silent Arbiter, is to find its way in

I would cut Spectural Searchlight for it.

Spectral Searchlight was really cool in two headed giant. Id rather cut something else but why cut a mana maker when i run a low amount of lands

pipercraven i added a maye board of a whole bunch of goodies, but the deck is still to slow. any suggestions

Grand Abolisher: he allows you to win on your turn.

Gisela, Blade of Goldnight: A game winner with your general and Grand Abolisher out.

Wrath of God: you are going to need a couple board wipes while you build your attacking force.

End Hostilities: this is an inexpensive board wipe.

Terminus > End Hostilities

Wrath of God is good, Planar Cleansing is better.

Heres the problem. Its not getting off the ground fast enough do to the fact i have to build up a heavy attack or defence. Both you guys are suggesting mass removals to slow down the opponent. Not a bad idea. I would have to redesign the deck a lil bit if i want to speed it up aka slow down the opponents.

Well, here's some suggestions on what I've seen work.

Artifacts: cut Coalition Relic, Infiltration Lens, Thran Dynamo, Worn Powerstone, Spectral Searchlight. Add Sol Ring, Boros Cluestone, Boros Signet, Crawlspace, and Sword of Feast and Famine (with Aggravated Assault for combo).

Creatures: cut Accorder Paladin, Agrus Kos, Butcher Orgg, Dragonscale General, Hero of Oxid Ridge, Goblin Wardriver, Laccolith Titan, and Rustmouth Ogre. Add Angel of Glory's Rise, Basandra, Battle Seraph, Boros Battleshaper, Hamletback Goliath, Silent Arbiter, Sunblast Angel, Preeminent Captain, Lightning Mauler.

Enchantments: cut Powerstone Minefield and Crescendo of War. Add Sublime Archangel and Assemble the Legion/Legion's Initiative.

Instants: cut Master Warcraft and Savage Beating. Add Boros Charm and Riot Control.

Sorceries: cut Alpha Brawl, Blasphemous Act, Chain Reaction, and World at War. Add Land Tax, Comet Storm, Cathars' Crusade, Balefire Liege.

Land: cut Plains x2 and Mountain x1. Add Sacred Foundry, Mistveil Plains, and Clifftop Retreat.

Some of the cards in the maybe board i really like are: Pyrohemia, Starstorm, and Kusari-Gama. All strictly to abuse Iroas, God of Victory's 2nd ability, And for his 1st ability i like: Vorrac Battlehorns, Silent Arbiter, Raging River, Boros Battleshaper, and Infiltration Lens, for an easy 4 card draw.

of the ones you mentioned not allready in the mayeboard, i like Angel of Glory's Rise, Sunblast Angel, Preeminent Captain, Riot Control, and Land Tax. Of course the lands too but im gonna address that issue later down the road. Now, of the ones you mentioned, that are allready in the maybeboard, this basically means they are more worthy of going in. The ones i like fits more towards the theme of what my commander can do for me.

so we have narrowed it down. If Angel of Glory's Rise, Sunblast Angel, Preeminent Captain, Riot Control, Pyrohemia, Starstorm, Vorrac Battlehorns, Silent Arbiter, Raging River, Boros Battleshaper, Kusari-Gama ,and Land Tax was your new list and you could only pick one for each of them whitch ones do you think i should take out And replace.

keep in mind alot of the cards i already have are good for devotion like Butcher Orgg

And Sword of Feast and Famine will find its way in soon

Why Silent Arbiter? It does allow you to have an unblockable creature, but thats literally only one creature that you have swinging then, and I assume you want more than that with Iroas as your general.

as long as i have my devotion Silent Arbiter makes Iroas, God of Victory unblockable or if i have a few things going for me already like Sword of Feast and Famine & Aggravated Assault, thats a victory. in the small scale, it gives me time to build up. @zerowner what would you suggest instead?

wahnschatten thanks for the upvote. Yes i need a major land improvment. Its always the last thing i take care of. Rise of the Hobgoblins was in here befor so was Hellrider, neither one was that important to me. First strike isnt that important when i have my god out so hobgoblins cane out. Hellrider came out cause i just didnt have enough creatures attacking to make that worth it. Magmaquake is already on its way in the mail. Its in the maybe board . Ill check out you deck in a lil bit. i might give hellrider a second chance.

I've listed an deck helmed by Iroas, God of Battleshaping. It might be useful to you.

Adding Sublime Archangel would fit well with Silent Arbiter + Iroas, God of Victory.

Thats not a bad idea. Cheap casting cost too.

It can win very fast if its not delt with. Just plsyed tonight at a friends house in a 3 way free for all, killed an opponent on turn 7 and the other on the next. Unblockable double striking Commander damage. Thanks for the upvote
