Q: What do Den Protector, Raptor, Catacomb Sifter, and Whisperwood, Dragonlord Silumgar have in common?

A: They are excellent creatures, each offering both great battlefield presence as well as card advantage.

Together they form an irresistible army. Protect them with counterspells and they will increasingly dominate the battlefield until they inevitably win the game. This deck is awesome!

Help Wanted

The above plan worked GREAT through Dragons and Origins standard, but I'm still working on the ideal cards for the new card pool and metagame. If you have any suggestions, let me know!

Key Cards

Catacomb Sifter - the new courser of Kruphix! 3 power, 4 toughness, extra mana, and dig for cards you need.

Grim Haruspex - Every creature you kill nets me a scry and a draw and a manifest that I will use to get my creatures back.

Of special note in this build

Roar of Challenge or Pathway Arrows with deathtouch creatures Deathmist Raptor and Heir of the Wilds is big trouble. Or Roar with Shaman of the great hunt out, lots of counters on our things.

Board wipes when you have Catacomb Sifter and Grim Haruspex out (maybe haruspex was face down, so you flip it): You get X scry triggers and X draw triggers. So scry to something you like, draw it, scry again, draw. Control is NOT gonna be happy.

(Based on Irresistible from the previous standard, which earned a 67% win percentage through hundreds of games.)
