So, here is what I learned about this deck: I want Kologhan, the Storms Fury in this deck because she's sweet and can win you games. Found out though that perhaps 3 is too many.
Brought this to the last standard event at FNM ended up going 3-1, so I suppose that's pretty good.
First match (0-2) was against a pretty sweet manifest deck using Mastery of the Unseen,Whisperwood Elemental, Hooded Hydra, and Hornet Queen. It was pretty close until the last game where he started gaining around 7 life per turn and I couldn't keep up with his life gain, and then the second match I draw all my Thoughtseize by turn 3, so I kind of realized that the game was lost. We played some friendly games (more like 8) while we were waiting for the rest of the matches to end and I won half, he won half. Don't know what that means, but I'm sure I can deal with the deck in the future.
Second Match (2-1) was against a kid's B/W Warrior deck, and in the first match I got killed by Athreos, God of Passage. Wasn't about to let that happen again in the next games, so I sided in Glare of Heresy. It allowed me to deal with basically all of his deck and the second and third game was a cake walk.
Third match (2-0) was against a Temur deck that in the first game didn't really have an opportunity to do anything because the deck steamrolled him pretty effectively in the first game. In the second game he dropped a hornet queen really early and got me down to 4. Threw down a Sorin and Swung for 19, kept myself in the game and really limited what he could do without dying. Sorin died but next turn I dropped a Brutal Hordechief and got him down to 5 with the Hordechief triggers. Swung again next turn and stoked the flames for the win.
Last match (2-1) went against a Temur deck. Got screwed for white mana the first game. Second game was pretty close, pulled out ahead, but he could not pull anything for the life of him game 3. Walked away with the 3-1 record for the night.
