I was looking through the casual decks and the name of yours caught my attention.I've been working on a rat discard deck over the last day or so and looking at your deck definitely helped give me some ideas. Rats of Discard is the deck I've been working on.

I like your use of Underworld Dreams and Dash Hopes . Those, I included in mine after seeing your deck. The Skull Collector is a great touch to this deck too. You've got a really cool deck here!

I'm running my own discard deck (Put Those Cards Down Before You Hurt Yourself) and I've found that Megrim and Liliana's Caress generally aren't worth the space in the deck, especially when you're over 60 cards like you are here. It slows down your entire game. While one landed right on time packs a 6-8 damage wallop, you can easily do that later, while they're topdecking and have no cards. I would swap Liliana's Specter for Hypnotic Specter in a heartbeat as well.

Hypnotic Specter is better in the 3 spot than nyxathid. Stupor is pretty awesome discard too, i really like the Gitaxian Probe inclusion to make sure you don't go for an empty target hand or something like that

Stupor is Timeshifted and Hypnotic Specter is M10; both Modern legal

Hypnotic Specter seems good but you have to cast it and then get an attack threw. I was using Liliana's Specter at least when you cast it you get a card? That's really the point is to get all the cards before they can play them. I think I like Wrench Mind over Stupor 2 to cast instead of 3.

The random discard is good but with:

Gitaxian Probe , Inquisition of Kozilek , and Thoughtseize you get to look at the hand giving cheap casting cost discard removal the upperhand.

I just found Nyxathid and will playtest him out in game play if he's not as good as I thought I'll go back to one of the specter's.

My use Urborg if all your lands are basic swamps anyway?

Also, I like the inclusion of the quest. Seems like it could be devastating later in the game. How is painful quandry working for you? I've always liked the card but was never sure if it was worth using.
