All of my Commander decks are multiplayer oriented with the spirit of the original intent of the format as stated here. Please keep this spirit at heart as you read and/or comment

This is a typical control deck. It encourages opponents to leave me alone and worry about everyone else. And then I build into some combo that turns the board in my favor.

How I deter my opponents from dealing with me are taxing type cards like Propaganda type abilities as well as various tapping, bouncing, and prevention cards.

Then if any of my opponents get any funny ideas, I have plenty of counter as well as a variety of removal to deal with specific plays as they come up, but generally I allow my opponents to do whatever they want. No worries though. I got plenty of Wrath of God abilities if they go too crazy :)

Also with cards like Rhystic Study, Aura of Silence, Consecrated Sphinx, Venser's Journal, Chancellor of the Annex , and the such, I should subtly be gaining the upper hand while slowing my opponents progress. I have noticed that a lot of players tend to overlook these seemingly passive cards. They just pay the extra and let me draw/gain life. They just figure that they will deal with it later. This is a big advantage for me.

Then once I am ready, I play a combo.
