Isperia the Enchantress

Commander / EDH*

ddavid82

Sideboard

Psuedo-Stax Azorius deck. I built this deck to use Isperia and a few other cards and enchantments to keep my hand full, while focusing on enchantment abilities. It started off around Sphere of Safety aesthetically and mechanically, as Sphere of safety is one enchantment that prevents me from being attacked (albeit softly). Propoganda and Ghostly Prison will be additions soon.

There are several combos in this deck, and the enchantment synergy is very strong.

I think of this as sort of "Pseudo-Stax" in that it layers enchantments on top of each other until it locks down the board, just with colors and enchantments instead of artifacts.

Updates Add

I have not played this deck super recently now, but found humility to be my go-to card a lot of the time. Easy to hold off during the early game if you can get it out early (T1 enlightened tutor, T2 sol ring, play it as early as T3 - or sol ring T1, Humility T2). Obviously Dovescape/Guile is a keeper.
