Flames of the Blood Hand is strictly better than Flame Javelin in this list. Also, I love Browbeat (one of the best designed burn/draw spells) but it's really bad unless you find a way to build your deck around it. If you're afraid of running out of steam, Dangerous Wager is as efficient in terms of mana to draw ratio, it doesn't give you're opponent a choice, and it leaves you mana to play that burn spell you were looking for. Before adding that though I'd up your Magma Jet count since it gives you half the burn spell your looking for up front. +1 for thinking outside the box with burn

It's hard to say what to cut if Browbeat is off the table. If you want to keep it, Molten Vortex may help make the card draw more worthwhile. It seems like it could be a better version of the old RG Browbeat + Stormbind deck.

So I'd probably cut some of your three drops that way you don't have a hand cluttered with stuff you can't play until turn 3. You really have to win by turn 4.

I don't like things that make you discard your hand but I think I'm just used to card advantage play style. You get a +1 from me though because you showed me some good cards that I have not seen before and a new way to play burn.

Personally, I would try to keep the overall curve as low as possible, to increase the speed of the deck. If you want to look at a good burn deck (not mine, but still, it's strong), then here is the link.

Does Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle ever get to trigger with this deck? I feel like you should really win the game before it ever gets the chance and running 4 Blighted Gorge means it's even less likely to happen.

I think Ball Lightning is to good not to have 4 of. Please check out my similar red aggro deck called Burn, baby burn, Asshole Inferno: Gruul Elementals. I think you'll like the twist I've taken.

Flamebreak instead of Anger the gods?

The 3 extra damage to players is worth it.

Keep anger in sideboard for flying creatures maybe.

Anger of the Gods is great against creature-recursion decks like Dredge

No one in my play group play dredge so it's not something I have to worry about. But thanks for the suggestion I'll toss two in the side board

Any thoughts on adding Desperate Ritual or Pyretic Ritual for ramping? It would make Banefire very effective. Either way, cool deck. Happy brewing.

Have you tried out Flame of Keld yet? This deck has a bit higher mana curve than most red aggro decks so I don't think you could play the full playset, but 1-2 might work. Slagstorm is another decent board wipe that you could use.

I don't likethe discard on flame of keld. And I want to get Sweltering Suns in here for a sweeper becuse of the cycle effect. Slag storm might fill the spot just as well I'll give it a shot

I'd personnally run Firebrand Archer, or Electrostatic Field or the Grim lavamancer. Sure it's higher CMC but overall, with the split you have between Spellslinger and Aggro, it'd be more beneficial outright.

What about Guttersnipe?
