Check out the competitive version of the deck here! It Really Adds Up (Competitive)
Gaining life is key to success here. Not only is it extending your life expectancy, it's capable of producing silly creature combos (Chaplain's Blessing + Voracious Wurm
), and can pump what you've already got on the field (Ageless Entity + Ajani's Pridemate
)
The Wardens make excellent T1 plays, and T2 is prime time to lay out a Lone Rider
, or Ajani's Pridemate.
T3 is where you get to combo up. You can play a
Chaplain's Blessing
to get value out of your
Voracious Wurm
as well as transform
It That Rides as One
or grow a pridemate. If you need it, you also have the capability to play
Survival Cache
. More often than not it's a 'Gain 4, draw two' over two turns, but be aware that it's capabilities are diminished against decks that are hard aggro, like burn.
T4 is the soonest you can play Angelic Accord or maybe a Well of Lost Dreams, but I wouldn't rush it. Keep pumping out cards you can play, and keep up the pressure, the decks runs through cards quickly, so play Harmonize or something to refill your hand.
From here on you can get out even more enormous Wurms, and continue to flip Lone Rider
s thanks to
It That Rides as One
attacking each turn. Ajani's Pridemates will also steadily become stronger. Ageless entity can grow to absurd heights if left unchecked, but it still doesn't have trample, so look to include some evasion like Behemoth's Sledge or
Angelic Gift
. Otherwise you might be on the Angelic Accord beatdown plan.
Spirit Loop
is included because it's a fun little combo with
Ageless Entity
doubling in size each turn. It's also a recursive lifegain source.
The deck has virtually no removal, so maybe try Journey to Nowhere if you need some. Which you do.
Blessed Alliance is kinda removal, but also doubles as a lifegain card and surprise defense.
Any Suggestions?
