This is a Jund Aggro list I've been running for a little while now, so far it's been very successful, gone 4-0 with it multiple times in a row during FNM so I think I'm doing something right.
I've looked at a lot of Naya blitz & Experiment Jund Lists and so forth and while those decks seem to be able to deliver a great deal of force, it seems fairly weak to removal and loses most games where the opponent can survive the first 4 turns, so I decided to put a differant spin on it and see how it went. Here's what I got:
Aggro (blitz) loses to sweepers and efficiant removal rather easily; most creatures in the deck have poor defences against removal.
So sacrifice some speed for the sake of resiliance, take out things like Lightning Mauler & Burning-Tree Emissary and add in more resiliant creatures: Lotleth Troll Strangleroot Geist & Gravecrawler
Next I added in Dreg Mangler that effectively gives me a total of 8 Flinthoof Boars in the deck with the added bonus bf bringing back Gravecrawler and scavenging onto Experiment One Additionally Dreg Mangler increases my chances of evolving Experiment One making it supportive in the early game where a searing spear can often derail an offensive.
As a whole the deck has proven to be consistant and not fold to any specific match up. Against Junk Reanimator the deck has an uphill fight to deal with Lingering Souls and lifegain, but suprisingly Junk is not that big of an issue, most of the time it becomes a matter of grinding out their advantage over time by forcing them to block early and often while Deathrite Shaman picks away at their graveyard. 'The only card that presents a valid threat is Angel of Serenity and even that is often forced to exile at least 2 of my creautres in order for them to stay alive it becomes rather easy to pick off with Ultimate Price, Tragic Slip, or [Sever the Bloodline]]
Naya Blitz is a rather easy match up, as I can hit the field with more resiliant creatures in order to make them stall out, as wel as having some nice tech in Knight of Infamy to block Champion of the Parish on turn two. Facing a deck of similar speed and with less resiliant creatures (save for boros charmed field) the match up is rather simple in my experience. (Bring in Volcanic Strength and possibly Ultimate Price and Domri Rade
Jund Midrange is a bit of an odd match up as I've had many times where my deck tramples over within 4-5 turns in one match but then in another we end up almost going to time. A good bit of the match up hinges on their draws, such as them being able to accelerate with Arbor Elf or drawing into Tragic Slip. As of right now I'd have to place this one as one that requires a good bit of thought. The only thing I always end up siding in is Volcanic Strength and a good bit of the time Falkenrath Aristocrat comes out in favor of Olivia Voldaren
Bant Echantments has seen a good bit of play in my area and has proven to be easy enough to deal with, the only vaolid threat from the deck is a Spectral Flight on Geist of Saint Traft Usually I can lock down the win before they can get out an voltron geists and if need be I can block Falkenrath Aristocrat or Golgari Charm to clip the geists wings.
That's it for now, sorry for the long post, always feel bad but sometimes I feel it necessary to establish my outlook on the deck.
If you have any thoughts/criticisms/ideas feel free to let me know.
Thanks for your time :)
