My first Modern Deck. I'm a little Jaded already by how often Standard cards rotate out, so I'm getting into something more lasting!

Basically the Deck operates by throwing down enchanted lifelinkers for the first few turns. Keeping them protected with Gods Willing and Brave the Elements , until either my Chalice of Life   and Serra Ascendant trigger, or I can build some Angels up with Angelic Accord.

An ideal opening hand would have Gods Willing , Hopeful Eidolon and Ethereal Armor in it. If so, I've got a Turn 2 3/3 Lifelinker to swing, and the protection to keep it backed up until at least next turn, when Ideally heliod or Rhox Faithmender will come out. Also, Heliod makes enchantments when I'm gassed out, so I'll probably try to find a spot for another of those...

What I wanna know is if anyone has some suggestions for great cards that I can use life to make awesome effects happen. I only started playing last year, so I don't have a large knowledge of Modern cards. Getting these pay life cards is part of the reason I haven't just made it mono-white; I figure all those pay life cards will be black!
