This is my Lord Windgrace landfall deck. This deck's commander was originally Omnath, Locus of Rage and then WOTC blessed us with the Lord himself. So I added good support with the new addition of and graveyard shenanigans.

The deck is pretty self-explanatory. Ramp early. Get our Lord and savior out on board and start +1 him to pitch lands and draw. Start getting some permanents out so we'll be able to trigger a bunch of Landfall effects to overwhelm our opponents. It's not uncommon for me to get 5+ lands to enter in one turn once Windgrace is out. Much more if those lands are fetch lands like Windswept Heath or Wooded Foothills so we want to take advantage of that with amazing cards like Scute Swarm , Rampaging Baloths , Ob Nixilis, the Fallen , Avenger of Zendikar , or even the old commander Omnath. Any token maker is really good as it provides several meat shields to protect our Lord from our enemies' attacks.

I've played this deck several times and for me some MVP cards are: Amulet of Vigor , Beseech the Queen , Constant Mists , Evolution Sage , World Shaper , and ESPECIALLY Realms Uncharted . Realms is essentially go get any 4 lands in your deck and put them on field for 3 mana. Providing you have the right setup (ability to play an extra land and have enough loyalty for Windgrace -3 effect). It's become one of my favorite cards of all time.

I'll end with a fun combo that has won me games and never gets old imo. The combo is Ley Weaver + Maze of Ith + Emergence Zone + any black mana source (I usually do this with both Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and Cabal Coffers in play but it isn't necessary) + Torment of Hailfire . It may seem like too many pieces are needed but any land is very easy to get in this deck so you'll mainly be looking for Weaver and Torment. What you do is during combat you attack with ley weaver. But you tap your Maze of Ith in response to untap your weaver and remove it from combat. You can then tap your weaver to untap 2 lands. Here you ALWAYS untap Maze of Ith and the 2nd land is your choice but preferably something that can produce . The trick here is that since Ley Weaver was declared as an attacker at the beginning of combat it is still a legal target for Maze. So you keep untapping and tapping your weaver and lands for infinite . You pay for emergence zone and sac it so all your spells have flash for the turn and you flash in a Torment where X is essentially 1,000,000. There's other ways to do this exact same combo that are less intricate obviously but it's something about doing this during combat that really catches people off guard and is very satisfying.

Enjoy!
