reaper king is cool

i own none of these cards in paper, but i wanna get em

Strategy

The idea is to ramp to Reaper King, then once i do, protect it by killing opponent's creatures and by playing scarecrows to destroy lands and other permanents. Reaper king pretty much turns all scarecrowns into killspells, except for lands (mostly).

Also Birthing Boughs works amazing with Reaper King, pretty much meaning every turn i get a vindicate and a body on the board

Specific card choices

Cover of Darkness in the hope that if my scarecrows don't get killed, when i get a bunch of them i can play this and swing in for the win\ Survivors' Encampment for mana, because i don't use scarecrows for much other than killing :) evil laugh

Upgrades later maybe

This is supposed to be a budget deck, but if i buy it and really like it, i might upgrade it. Suggestions to both the budget and upgrades would be great Kindred Dominance and Overwhelming Forces would both be great one-sided board wipes, and as for lands there are a lot of upgrades i could make, such as: Cascading Cataracts, Path of Ancestry, Tarnished Citadel, Crystal Quarry, Vesuva, Reflecting Pool, Mana Confluence, and Pillar of the Paruns. For creatures, i could add Metallic Mimic, and for targeted removal i'm not sure. again, suggestions would be great
