I found this out by reading about problems around Kaalia of the Vast where you have similar situations, for example with Aurelia, the Warleader - you don't get an extra attack phase if she's introduced through Kaalia of the Vast

Yeah, JenteVW you are correct. I did my research and if Brimaz, King of Oreskos was played via Preeminent Captain , the Brimaz's ability won't trigger and he will be tapped although he has Vigilance. Vigilance and the "Whenever ___ attacks...." abilities only trigger when being declared attackers during the declare attackers step.

Thank you for correcting my mistake.

I think Preeminent Captain can be good and bad it can be good because it gets your creatures out faster but unless you have a pump spell your heroic creatures could die to blocker.

I have a question, why no Glare of Heresy or Deicide sideboard

Cool deck. How's your mana base during your games? I feel you can remove 1 more Plains for maybe an Obelisk of Urd , Soul of Theros , or Avacyn, Guardian Angel . I'm also not a fan of Oppressive Rays in your sideboard. I would rather have Mortal's Ardor , Devouring Light , or maybe even Mass Calcify .

Devouring Light and Celestial Flare are really the same thing except Devouring Light targets and exiles and Celestial Flare gives your opponent an option, which depends on all the attackers, but it can go around hexproof, which you don't see that all to much but it is better to be prepared for it than to be wrecked by a hexproof deck

I'd put Gift of Orzhova in over Chosen by Heliod . casting it on an unbuffed Fabled Hero would result in an 4/4 flying lifelink double striker. I'd also sub out phalanx leader (as hes not that useful unless your game really drags out which i dont think you want) for Akroan Skyguard again because evasion. i like the heroic decks though, i just have an unhealthy obssession with evasion in heroic decks.

I feel as if Phalanx Formation would be better replaced with Ajani's Presence

It is really depends, if you want a game finisher paying five to give to creatures double strike an triggering heroic game be a huge swing or could take down a buff creature versus paying 4 to give 2 creatures +1/+1 and indestructible and triggering heroic, if anything I would put Ajani's Presence sideboard if you are matched up against a heavy removal deck.
