No Hornet Queen ? Also, how has Horizon Chimera done for you? Seems a little out of place here, except for the synergy with Prime Speaker Zegana .

This is a preliminary build, it's still in the works. I feel it's a good jumping off point. You're probably right with Hornet Queen , I can probably board out Horizon Chimera for it.

Really like the deck, if you want to delve a bit more into red i'd recommend Xenagos, God of Revels . If you have time, check out my deck its on the similar principal but would like some post rotation advice: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/rug-everything-needs-help/ +1 for me. :D

The issue I see is that you have both Prime Speaker Zegana and a couple of Khans block creatures in this deck, but those cards will never be standard legal together. Is this supposed to be post-rotation, current rotation, or extended?

I'm adding pieces of Khans as the cards get spoiled if they fit into the build, so I can get the mindset of what the deck will look like after rotation. Currently I run this pre-rotation, I'm just trying to prep it for afterwards. I can reinstate it as to what it is currently if you like me to and add an update as to what I will be changing.

Only one Sylvan Caryatid ? I feel like 8 dorks would really help this deck.

PlattBonnay-I could say I technically run 9 mana dorks because Kiora's Follower works that way in addition as Yisan, the Wanderer Bard fuel. Maybe I could sideboard another Caryatid for the more aggressive decks.

WildWestWIld-I like her as a card, but she doesn't belong in this deck. She belongs in a control shell with many token generators and a big creature to use as the wincon.

Love the deck!

I've been playtesting it on Untap, and it seems like its only weakness is aggro game 1.

I've been toying around with the idea of making a Bant yisan shell, running 1xMidnight Guard , 2-3 0 mana artifacts and 4xRetraction Helix with some prowess so i can tutor up a instant win combo. What are your thoughts on that?

usohatchi-This deck is very bad against aggro pre-board, but has the write sideboarding materials to make it a favorable matchable in the following games with Nylea's Disciple and Setessan Tactics

As for your deck idea, I'm not sure Yisan is the right way to go there. I would say either a U/W or Jeskai control shell with lots of card draw and filtering. The reason I don't see Yisan is because he can't tutor up any zero-drop artifacts ala Ornithopter or Tormod's Crypt . If you do want to run him, don't do it as a 4-of, but maybe a 2-3 of.

Hey, I like this deck a lot, sad that some of the combos will be moving out in the rotation. Since your adding a splash of red what about Purphoros, God of the Forge ? Also Monastery Swiftspear could be a nice one drop. Tormenting Voice could also be nice. I also had a question about the interaction with Prophet of Kruphix and Yisan, when you untap Yisan during your opponents untag phase, are you allowed to tap Yisan during your opponents phase? Also i would like to hear if you found any nice combos as I would like to play this deck during FNM sometime. Thanks.

Also Nissa, Worldwaker could be a good addition to this deck or sideboard, but probably only one or two of her. The reason I say that is because when you tap Yisan, you have to use 3 mana also, and Nissa, Worldwaker 's first plus one can allow you to up tap forests. So if you have say a Kiora's Follower and a Yisan, the Wanderer Bard and Nissa, Worldwaker out, you can tap Yisan, plus one Nissa so you can untap 4 lands, and then untap Yisan with Kiora's Follower , then tap Yisan again for two or more verse counters a turn on a lower mana base. Hope you understand what I'm saying xD. Awesome deck and I'm looking too see if I can find any combos for it. Again I would like to hear if u found any nice combos.

Hushwing Gryff , Fleecemane Lion , Mana Confluence , Phyrexian Revoker , Hornet Nest could be good in the sideboard or maybe you see fit to be in main board. Let me know what you think.
