If you want to troll or harass opponents more effectively, you might try concentrating your cards more. By that I mean remove some of the one of cards and make certain cards have multiple copies. For example you could have 4 of pilfered plans, 4 warped physique, 4 deathcult rouge, 4 duskmantle seer, etc. just to make it run smoother

You could trade that Thassa, God of the Sea for all the components you need in a basic mill deck. A lot of the main components are just commons that are worth 10-30 cents.

  1. Pilfered Plans
  2. Psychic Strike
  3. Tome Scour
  4. Breaking / Entering
  5. Mind Grind

I would take out every single creature in your deck unless it has something to do with your opponent milling.

There's another way you can do this, and that's with all counter-spells and kill spells, and then win with Millstone or Codex Shredder over a long period of time. Don't do this strategy if you just play casually with friends though. It tends to be boring unless it's competitive against another control deck or something.

If you're not looking to mill out your opponent, you don't have to. You could just make a regular deck. It seems like you've build this deck of just opening up a few packs of Gatecrash and Dragon's Maze. There's nothing wrong with that, but just understand that this deck isn't competitive enough for Standard tournaments like FNM. Make sure that if you're trying to do something for your deck, that you buy cards specifically for your deck, and not just packs. You'll spend a lot less money just buying the only cards you need. Welcome to the expensive world of Magic where it's not impossible, but also not easy, to make good and inexpensive decks.

No problem. I recommend increasing your card knowledge too. Tappedout has a great card search engine that can be found at the top of the screen there right next to "Deck Builder." Just click on "Cards," and that's a pretty decent search engine. If you're looking for an even more specific search engine, I recommend using the one on gatherer. Also, mythicspoiler has some great visuals if you're more of a visual person. Just google these things because I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put URLs in here or not.

I think you have a solid base of cards and it really depends on which direction you want to take it, if you want a mill strategy follow the instructions from ccharlie9999, if not there's a few different ways you could take it. I feel that you have some good ideas as far as where you want to be, and to as you say troll, and I think with a more streamlined deck you'd be great. Innovation seems there, and your better then most beginners when it comes to deck building, so all you need is the right cards, +1 from me

Need more land by the way. I would recommend at least 24-25 lands. 19 is not even close to enough.

vasiliosn I just played a couple games against your Dimir deck, and I won 2-0. While your creatures each have unique abilities, my deck rushed out of the gates and swarmed quickly, forcing your creatures to chump block or lose the game. However, I have a couple suggestions. First of all, up your consistency with your cards, you can do this by cutting 1 of's and going up to 4 of's of select creatures and spells, this will help your deck greatly, and as your deck looks budget, search for cards that are better and cheaper than one's you have now, sometimes you just have to look all over.

DMRxITxUP card suggestions? and amounts?

For example, cards I would consider and put in as 3 or 4 of's (And they're budget) Note: This will change the deck to a little more aggro with a nice removal package) Doom Blade , Ultimate Price , and Devour Flesh , so good just bring them in, maybe 2-3 each. Thrill-Kill Assassin No one wants to block him, free 2 damage? Cloudfin Raptor Evolves quickly as the game goes on, nice cheap creature. Warped Physique Could also serve as nice removal. Shadow Alley Denizen could keep your creatures swinging through with intimidate. Maybe use some Duress in the sideboard against control, and Ogre Slumlord could be a nice finisher. And in my opinion, Mogis's Marauder is a must include as a 3-4 of, as it allows for super powerful swings. Hope I could help some!

Oh, and keep Duskmantle Seer , I like him in a 2-3 amount. Hands of Binding is also great, locking down creatures is fun. Also, I'd recommend upping your land count to 23, trust me it's very necessary.

Sorry, instead of Hands of Binding I meant Hidden Strings , I feel like it is better.
