So the basic premise for this deck is to mana ramp into a frightening card by turn 3-4 and start wreaking shop. Ideally it would play out one of two ways, mana ramp into a Kalonian Hydra or into a Rakdos's Return for the rest of their hand. For example:

Turn 1: Forest, Elvish MysticTurn 2: Overgrown Tomb shocked, play Elvish Mystic, tap other mystic and forest for Burning-Tree Emissary into Sylvan CaryatidTurn 3: Play land, Rakdos's Return for 4 clearing their hand, or Xenagos, the Reveler and then using his plus one and the remaining 2 mana play a Kalonian Hydra or a Mistcutter Hydra for five.

And this isn't even a perfect draw/hand, just one I have had happen before during testing this.

This decks leads to a lot of mana, which is where the usefulness of the X cost spells in this deck really shine.
