Could take out gate creeper and put in farseek seeing as how you can find any dual land with that. Take out the slow gates and put duals in. Could put in unburial rites so you can cast your lich if he happens to die. Or some other card like snapcaster or angel. Just some thoughts! +1

Yup. That's an idea. Been trying to do that for awhile now but I need to get my hands on some shocks first (not to mention the duals). One thing that I like about the Gatecreeper Vine is the ability to chump block and annoy things like Stromkirk Noble and Boros Reckoner. Also works great with the Havengul Lich should the game drag on and the deck needs thinning. But I do see your point (and Farseek is a great card!).

So i see you realised the true awesomeness of ACIDIC SLIME!!!! Was bringing it back against me not enough?! LAWL! Maybe 1 more abrupt decay over a negate? Most of the time the things you negate you can abrupt decay right? (Planeswalkers like liliana) But abrupt decay also works to reduce the speed of the opponent :D (not that negate doesn,t just it may do it faster). Other than that it looks SOLID when are you next competing? I can't make FNM AGAIN!!! Though I'm getting a box of Dragon's Maze so...makes up for it I suppose.

thanks ... it looks like it worked... oh ya, looking at my "extras"... building your deck now... but curious, if Lich is a main part of your deck why only 1?

I used to run 2 of him and a set of Forbidden Alchemy but occasionally I have 1-2 in my opening hand and it feels bad as he just sits there until turn 4-5 and he enters the battlefield mostly as a 4/4 body with no protection (I usually prefer to cast him when I have Unsummon in hand or a Restoration Angel in the graveyard to thwart potential spot removals.

So I decided to cut him down to one but I still want to draw him when I need to, which is why I swapped my Forbidden Alchemy s out for a set of Signal the Clans and it worked quite well. I'll tutor him up when I need a finisher and when my graveyard is full of delicious targets. Preferably when I have at least 6-9 mana up so I can Unsummon or reanimate Snapcaster Mage to flashback Unsummon if I need to. :)

interesting... well im missing, 2 huntsman, 2 snap cast, and 1 signal in my "new" deck.. lol...

pretty sure im gonna use what i had going with my other deck to replace missing stuff here... Disciple of Griselbrand for some cheap life gain or/and when im about to "lose" a creature... and Zealous Conscripts , to take and kill opponents, again using the Disciple (life gain), and havengul to cast back to my side of field...

seeing the cost of him, you should look at Disciple, read your forums, and more than once u mention yer life at under 5 and losing match... thragtusk gives u 8 life for any 2 CMC + 5 when u re-cast him!!! wink wink
