why not more of the Liliana planeswalkers?particularly The Last Hope and Liliana Vess seems like they synergise particularily well with this kind of deck

I also noticed that since you play a lot of zombies, why not play Coat of Arms?

I used to play vess but took her out for more relavant zombies and because the deck was running out of meh cards to remove, the last hope is meh for this deck because her +1 isnt as good in edh and with her -2 i dont want to put any non creatures in my grave and my deck already has plenty of recursion, the only reason i might is for the ult. I really wouldnt know what to take out for her anyways the deck is already full. Im also really meh about planeswalkers because then i have to protect them and not attack with some guys to protect her

Liana of the dark realm is in there because the ramp is insanely useful so i never miss a land drop and her ult can make me easily win the game in 1 turn or just let me dump my hand and use a bunch of abilities (plus that ult with urborg is insane), and she doesnt show herself as a large threat until she ults since she only gets me swamps and i usually never use her -3. Her ult can also save me from not having anything in play where as the last hope gets me 2 zombies to last until my next turn if i had no creatures.

I will probably put coat of arms in though, i remember wanting to put it in when i first made the deck after c14 was released but since i never got one i kind of forgot it existed. That would be insane in here.

What about Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet?

Endless Ranks of the Dead is a pretty fun card, and can be quite a powerful finisher in a zombie deck. The art is also fantastic, and the juxtaposition between the beautiful stained glass and the horde behind it sets a truly terrifying scene.

kalitas is good but he just doesnt seem too good since he isnt a zombie and this deck isnt very removal heavy, he would not be getting as much value as more controlly centered decks would. this deck usually tries to go off and flood the board really fast just by constantly playing creatures and pumping them up. kalitas does make the tokens which goes with the strategy but its a card you have to work for by killing your opponents dudes.

I used to run endless ranks of the daed for over a year but I only got it to go off 1 time. it would always get hated out instantly, my board would get wiped, or I just never drew it so I decided to take it out for a creature that wont be much of a target (it was probably one of the new ones from amonkhet)I loved the card and I wish it wouldve worked or that I would have drawn it more.

Thanks, I made the alter myself a looooong time ago about a year after C14 was released. I've been playing Gisa for a long time. It isn't the prettiest alter really up close, but I'm still proud of how it turned out.
