Horde of Notions has been a goofy favorite of mine ever since I found out he was a thing. Being a tribal fanatic and EDH nut, I couldn't resist building a deck.

The basic idea I'm going for here is synergistic permanents, triggered abilities out the wazoo, board state accumulation, and heavy-hitting creatures. I'm also aiming for the deck to remain functional should the Horde get hated out of existence or tucked by some lame blue player.

The vast majority of the deck falls into at least one of five categories:

1. Mana: Color fixing, ramp, mana enablers galore.

2. ETB triggers: Tyrant of Discord, Flamekin Harbinger, Evokers, etc.

3. Getting creatures without paying for them: Cascade, , Lurking Predators, etc. More recently playing around with Manifest and flickers.

4. Permanents triggered by ETBS/casts: Soul of the Harvest, Warstorm Surge, etc.

5. Answers to threats: Void Stalker, Crib Swap, Merciless Eviction, etc.

The sideboard is a miscellaneous list of things I either am in the process of acquiring or am interested in trying out.
