That's a lot for infinite damage. I do like the thought, but I'm a big dumb dino. I just want to smash face.

Ranging Raptors is listed under dinos and ramp

wcarterchambers - I know they are. I've been trying to motivate myself into changing things around where I have 8 ramp cards either by giving myself extra mana or lands. I just haven't found the motivation to do so. The Accel category will be moved around a bit since most of the them only reduce the cost of my dinosaurs. So far I am still waiting to see if I can get the deck finished before I make any major changes like that.

Great tribe! +1
Maybe Drumhunter is a better draw engine than Garruk's Packleader? Because he ramps, is a draw engine and 1 mana cheaper.
And from my personal view he is also great for your deck flavor wise.

Mike94, I think you are right on about that. I think it has better drawing power, because once you get a fatty on the table, its drawing cards for you every turn, which is easier than playing a fatty every turn. Great call. I'm adding it to my decklist now.

I am actually thinking of dropping Garruk's Packleader, but he works well with Gishath's ability, because it's when the creature enters the battlefield. Not when casted. So even the tokens count. Drawing power isn't too bad so far in all my test plays. It's mostly an issue with protecting the dinosaurs. :/

CardTyrant, that's always a problem if you play fun value decks, I had the same problem with my Odric, Lunarch Marshall EDH deck and decided to make protection a sub theme.
You could run Flickering Ward for recurring protection and Eldrazi Monument could also be a strong include if you can sacrifice a token in your upkeep. Your deck would also benefit from Swiftfoot Boots and Lightning Greaves. Mother of Runes is also great for early game protection.
If you have the mana then Eight-and-a-Half-Tails is a great addition and can protect several dino's at once (he is completely of flavor though). Glory is also a great option if you can get it into your graveyard.
Spectra Ward combined with Concerted Effort is a great shield for your creatures, when you combine these with Eldrazi Monument it's almost impossible to remove them.
Hope you can do some tinkering with these suggestions!

Rivals of ixalan cards revealed
what changes are you going to make?

CardTyrant says... #12
TheDeckMaker2300: I actually have a huge update coming to the deck next Friday. I'm adding 19 cards to the deck.
- Huatli, Radiant Champion: Flavor and she's my favorite planeswalker.
- Zetalpa, Primal Dawn: Zetalpa is a primal and is a must.
- Frilled Deathspitter: Deals 2 damage to the face.
- Ghalta, Primal Hunger: Ghalta is a primal and is a must.
- Etali, Primal Storm: Etali is a primal and is a must.
- Farseek: Not a RIX card, but I want to change around my ramp cards.
- Spoils of Victory: Not a RIX card, but I want to change around my ramp cards.
- Nature's Lore: Not a RIX card, but I want to change around my ramp cards.
- Kavu Lair: A cheaper Garruk's Packleader.
- Forerunner of the Empire: Enrage trigger and tutor.
- Polyraptor: A great enrage card.
- Pyrohemia: Enrage trigger.
- Siegehorn Ceratops: A 2 drop that gets huge fast.
- Zacama, Primal Calamity: A huge 9/9 with amazing abilities! A great commander too.
- Trapjaw Tyrant: Enrage creature that's removal.
- Wayward Swordtooth: A nice 5/5 that acts as mana ramp.
- Silverclad Ferocidons: A nice enrage creature that's removal.
- Raging Regisaur: A okay enrage enabler, but is a 4 drop.
- Knight of the Stampede: A huge reducer on a creature.

That's cool ideas
However there's three more thing you could/should put in
Number 1
https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/news/rivals-ixalan-oracle-changes-2018-01-11
Regal Behemoth is now a dinosaur instead of a lizard
You got another card draw and ramp at the same time card to put in.
Number twoRite of Passage it pretty much gives the whole army Snapping Sailback enrage trigger
Number 3Temple Altisaur negates all damage to all dinosaur to 1 except this one give it indestructible then all the sudden Blasphemous Act becomes a 1 sided sweep like Plague Wind (most of the time)
Oh enrage has slight more focus now
So I got three for ya
The last one may not be such a good idea but with Ravenous Daggertooth + Rite of Passage it negates the damage from the leave play

TheDeckMaker2300: As much as I like enrage, I don't want to have it take over my deck. I have thought about putting Rite of Passage into the deck. Temple Altisaur was original going into the deck, but I opt to not put him in there simply because I didn't want to focus too much on the enrage.
Thanks for the article. I heard they were changing some more lizards to dinosaurs, but I didn't know who or where the article was (I am a bit lazy).
I will take what you have told me into consideration after I play around with Ixalan Park V2.0 (If I even get to V1.0).

Looking for other decklists to compare to my own Gishath list, and stumbled across yours. I think it's really cool that you're following the Professor's advice on land ratios, but keep in mind those are averages. Your commander is a whopping eight mana; you need to be able to hit amount quickly. I'd spike to about 10-15 accelerators actually. I recommend any combination of Atzocan Seer, Wayward Swordtooth, Drover of the Mighty, Knight of the Stampede, Cultivate, Kodama's Reach, Explosive Vegetation, Farseek, Gruul Signet, Selesnya Signet, Boros Signet, Pillar of Origins, Mirari's Wake, and/or Zendikar Resurgent.

Austin_Smith_of_Cards- I am actually working on upgrading the deck. I am adding Farseek, Spoils of Victory, and Nature's Lore. Knight of the Stampede and Wayward Swordtooth are already in the deck. I don't run the Signets because I'm not a huge fan of filters. I don't know why and I can't explain it, but I just don't like them. I thought about running Atzocan Seer and Drover of the Mighty, but I have no clue what to take out for them. I also thought about running Mana Crypt, but same as before, I don't know what to take out for them. Pillar of Origins is only for the correct creature type, so I didn't run it. I don't run Cultivate, Kodama's Reach, or Explosive Vegetation because they only get basic lands. The deck doesn't run very many basic lands, so I choose not to run them. I thought about running Mirari's Wake and Zendikar Resurgent, but I have no clue on what to take out. Resurgent lets me draw cards which is something this deck lacks a bit on, and Mirari's Wake gives my dinosaurs a slight boost.
As I test (a very unfinished deck), I normally can get Gishath out by turn 5.
January 22, 2018 9:40 a.m.
You could probably take out a Forest for Mana Crypt. It's a 0 drop that taps for mana, it's basically a land.

With the release of RIX, has that had any influence on whether or not you'd consider running with Enrage as more of a theme? I saw quite a few dinosaurs with enrage triggers that could be quite useful, so I was just curious if it has changed your focus or not.

bushido_man96 - I have started adding more support for Enrage. I also dropped a lot of dinosaurs that lack enrage (kept the good ones that don't have enrage). I am not going all out with the enrage support, but it is a sub-theme. I am still experimenting, but I think I will be adding more top deck manipulation cards and some protection cards.

Silverclad Ferocidons...you have twice in this decklist
February 13, 2018 11:10 a.m.

nayaman - If you noticed I have a lot of cards twice on the decklist. I have him in removal and he's a dinosaur. Same with Ranging Raptors (dinosaur and accel) or Bellowing Aegisaur (dinosaur and support). There are a few others that I have added in two spots. I did that so I can better remember why each dinosaur is in the deck when I edit it. ;)

im really surprised Temple Altisaur is not in here

I wanted it in there, but since all my enraged triggers only do 1 damage to my creatures, Temple Altisaur was up in the air. Than there was the issue of what to take out. I had to cut a lot of good dinosaurs with the release of Rivials. There are a lot of good dinosaurs.

your going to probably thank me for this
Shaman en-Kor
probably they easiest way to get the largest amount of enrage triggers, it redirects damage to creatures in 1's and its free to trigger so redirect 3 damage to Sun-Crowned Hunters thats 9 damage to a player.
and heres the best part for 1W you can force the damage from a source too the shaman even opponents creatures from something else
and heres something adorable for dinosaur tribal Rite of Passage give everybody the Snapping Sailback enrage
oh and look at this combo
Dual Nature + Burning Sun's Avatar + Changeling Berserker or Changeling Hero or Changeling Titan = INFINITE DAMAGE
heres the instructions on how to do this
what do you think?
