Instead of Armed/Dangerous and Artful Dodge try to substitute Distortion Strike. One to Cast. Target Creature gains +1/+0 and is unblockable for this turn. You could probably do with Guttersnipe too.

@lelouch190 I think this is a standard deck he has here, so Distortion Strike wouldn't be legal in the standard format.

Correct Behgz. :D Didn't really expect anyone to comment on this, was just using it for random ideas. I've changed it a lot now and am thinking of trying an Izzet Control thing. Admittedly sub-par to american control, but also a hell of a lot cheaper, especially w/ no shocklands.

+1 from me...like that post rotation will drop only one card Think Twice I thinking about that kind of deck and I see I can take some cards from your set and add some Wall of Frost and Nightveil Specter to check them.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm trying to keep it to Ravnica-block + M14, as I don't want to drop any money on good cards that will rotate out of standard in a couple of months. I'm not sure how well Nightveil Specter would work. How often would I be able to play their exiled card? I've been considering a wall of some kind, maybe I'd make room in the sideboard to put it in vs certain decks. I'll think about Wall of Frost :D.

Here is my two bits. If you really don't like the Guttersnipe s then I would put in 2x AEtherling and 2x Ral Zarek so you have a nice strong creature that is pretty difficult to deal with once it's out and then if nothing else, two nifty Lightning Bolt s from the zarek.

If you're going aggro, I'd suggest swapping Nivmagus for Blistercoil Weird . Also, Guttersnipe is almost a necessity.Epic Experiment may be fun, but could definitely be dropped.

Perfect replacement, thanks! @XeroedOut, I could see dropping Nivmagus but why Blistercoil? It seems pretty weak. Also, I generally don't like Guttersnipe vs most matchups. It's a 2 toughness wimp that I never intend to block with anyway. It's like an enchant, and it's an expensive 3 mana enchant that makes me tap out rather than leave instants open. And yeah, I plan to get rid of Epic Experiment , I just don't know what to replace it with.
