I know that Aikido has traditionally been something we see mostly in EDH, but I wanted to try my hand at a deck that functions similarly but as a standard 60 card deck. To me the martial art that is Aikido, to be applied in Magic the Gathering, is an interesting concept. This deck, in cards like Malevolent Whispers, Welcome to the Fold, and Confiscation Coup, is very much putting that which is of my opponent at my own disposal. When my opponent's deck fails, so does this one. When my opponent's deck thrives, I take what is being used against me and use it to my advantage. This deck revolves around madness burning them and taking their things, either temporarily or permanently, and strengthening myself with them.
