The idea of the deck is to, unsurprisingly, cast burn spells using Melek, Izzet Paragon. The goblin electromancers are there to support him and make the burn spells cheaper, while the Stonybrook Bannerets are there to make the wizards cheaper. The Vedalken AEthermage is there to search for the necessary wizards. Information Dealer lets you control what goes on top of the deck, so never have to draw a burn spell. Azami, Lady of Scrolls is there so you can tap your idle wizards to draw the top card whenever it is a creature or land, so you can cast more burn spells with Melek, Izzet Paragon, while Psychosis Crawler can turn the card draw into even more damage! Fog Bank helps to help stall opposing creatures for time. The Elixir of Immortality lets you recycle the burn spells and helps prevent accidental self milling with Azami.
