Sideboard

Mostly being a fan of B/U/G this dip into red is rather odd for me, but I love the flexibility of the overload mechanics. Not a huge presence of it here unfortunately, as Izzet decks tend to work better in the meta ATM when more focused.

The main concept of the deck is to get out Guttersnipe and Young Pyromancer and simply blast at your opponent until they run outta life.

The primary damage cards are your usual staples, Lightning Strike, Magma Jet, and Turn//Burn for biggies, as well as Ral Zarek for damage, control, and a few more turns maybe, why not?

Never underestimate the power of your creatures though, hence the board-clear in the form of Mizzium Mortars, Voyage's End and Cyclonic Rift, as well as the Weapon Surge and Teleportal to get through your opponent's line. Spellheart Chimera is also a fine addition, it gets more and more powerful as time goes on, and is almost guaranteed to do damage as a flyer with trample, though it is a little weak.

Plenty of draw is also key, hence the two Divination and the two Steam Augury. The Mercurial Chemister can also help out with that, as well as offering a little damage potential.

Throw in some Counterflux for control, as well as a Melek, Izzet Paragon and an Epic Experiment to get cards out mega fast.
