An Izzet deck I tried putting tpgether since I wasn't able to play Grixis Control last FNM. I went 4-1 and had lots of fun, you get to end games on the stack or just overrun your opponent or just burn at the stake with 5 goblins. Guttersnipe is a crucial element here, having a Guttersnipe and an Electromancer together just rewards you so much for playing spells just for the sake of playing it. I've won many games top-decking a clutch think twice, that's 4 damage to you and 2 new cards for me. Krenko is a fucking timebomb and needs 2 taps to just flood the board with goblins and sets up the board for burn at the stake. Niv-Mizzet is a jewel in this deck, ending games which take too long. One of the most fun things in this deck is reminiscing Lightning Bolt and Flame Slash with an electromancer in play (searing spear, mizzium mortars). Izzet charm is one of my favorite standard cards and lets you dig in to find that card you need to win. Does great against midrange and control and exceptionally well against token heavy decks. Aggro is still a problem.
