Maybeboard

UR Izzet infinite combo deck for the pauper format! Uses Blisterspit Gremlin + Kessig Flamebreather + Retraction Helix / Banishing Knack + Mirran Spy + Reckless Fireweaver to infinitely play and bounce Tormod's Crypt or Herbal Poultice, resulting in infinite ETB triggers and infinite 1 damage pings.

The original idea behind this deck is from here:

The main change I made compared to the other versions is the inclusion of Blisterspit Gremlin as a very cheap creature that untaps on ETB triggers. Much cheaper than the previously used Nettle Drone. There is an argument to be made for Nettle Drone being better as it can act both as the ETB pinger or the untapper, but I found that its mana cost made the deck slower than it needs to be.

The other changes are mostly tweaks to the mana base, consistency boosting cards and distribution of cards from the different combo roles.

The main combo consists of 4 cards.

Against certain decks, you might even be able to use card:Herlbal Poultice and Tormod's Crypt for their intended purpose.

Another neat little detail is the fact that Mirran Spy is able to untap any creature, not just itself. Because of this, you can perform the combo even during the turn you cast Mirran Spy by using another creature to bounce the artifacts.

The deck is rather gimmicky and can be quite inconsistent. To combat this, both Faithless Looting and Ponder allow you to sift through your deck for the combo pieces.

Faithless Looting's flashback can be especially nice when yourself really stuck and don't forget to shuffle your deck before drawing with Ponder if none of the top 3 cards are useful.

The manabase is a bit wonky looking and can definitely be adapted to your personal preferences.

Evolving Wilds can theoretically delay the combo by a turn due to coming in tapped, but on average, it lowers the average number of turns before the combo is set up with its deck thinning and being able to fetch exactly the mana you need.

Ash Barrens can be used for mana since most casts have at least some colourless mana in their cost, but provides extra utility with its basic land cycling. Especially since it only requires to cycle.

Holdout Settlement provides some mana colour consistency without entering tapped.

I definitely recommend checking out the other decks using this gimmick. Consider the Maybeboard a list of relevant cards you could swap in to make the deck suit your tastes.
