Idea was from ZooGambler after we collaborated together. I wanted to recover the old days when two color decks were in standard. I'm talking about the time with Ravnica when Izzet, Golgari, Azorius, Simic and Boros were popular but with the rise of new three color combos everyone has forgotten the old roots. There seems to me like there are so many useful cards to boost these and I choose to take Izzet back into style because blue allows card draw and counters while red has been getting some strong creatures.

Deck fundamentals: This is a Tempo based deckTempo is basically rendering your opponents mana useless and reasons to how this deck provides those options are quick counters, Negate, Disdainful Stroke and Monastery Siege when casted for the dragons.

How the deck works:There are a few cool combos and answers in the main board that can get you started. Lets say turn one you can play a land and follow up turn 2 with a Frost Walker or Eidolon of the Great Revel. These are your only options for two drops and both provide great coverage. Turn three allows plays that would let you play Monastery Siege or Flamewake Phoenix if your opponent has no fliers out. Turn 4 is where most of the fun starts. You can combo a Thunderous Might onto a Flamewake Phoenix for a minimum of +3/0 which is going to put a big dent. Theres also defensive options of holding onto Disdainful Stroke and Negate or dropping Shaman of the Great Hunt. by now your opponent is probably screaming since theres not much they can do, and if they choose to remove a creature by counter or murder, they will have to pay 2 life thanks to Eidolon.

New Additions:I went ahead and added Icy Blast into main board because after a few play tests it was so helpful against creature heavy decks or the possibility that someone plays fliers which are difficult to get by. the ferocious cost is easy to go for and tapping creatures for two whole turns allows for some great swinging action during combat phase. Thunderous Might was another card that actually replaced x2 Dig Through Time because I felt there wasn't really much to delve and there is already plenty of card draw in this deck. The Thunderous Might lets me get big damage in rather quickly since the curve is more red than blue.

Above all guys please leave me any suggestions that you notice and constructive criticisms as well.
