This is my first real attempt at an Izzet deck, so any advice would be appreciated. The idea is to play a fairly conservative game, limiting any opponent's options, taking advantage of weak points and whittling down health with guttersnipe.
Flavor Goals: Keep a very spell oriented deck to showcase creatures that have effects triggered when spells are cast.
Limitations: In general, I'm trying to keep it pretty cheap (i.e. under 6 per card at max.... Looking at you, Bonfire).
Rationales: Izzet Charm & Negate: Cheap control, allowing me to limit another player and protect my own investments
Mizzium Mortars & Cyclonic Rift: Cheap removal with big late game effects should I ever get that much mana
Thunderous Wrath: Burst
Think Twice: Miracle draw mechanic, makes sure there's always a spell to play
Cackling Counterpart: Takes advantage of the Staticaster to provide extra removal and Guttersnipe to both proc and provide extra damage
Delver: Early game pressure and a mid game screen for guttersnipe, Talrand, and Chandra
Guttersnipe and Talrand: self explanatory
Izzet Staticaster: screen and weak removal, but flash gives a lot of versatility in use and multiples
Chandra: The second ability is where it's at.... but also serves as a distraction and provides a bit of damage or removal
Reliquary Tower: works with Devastation Tide in sideboard
