Dissolve Magma Jet Izzet Charm Shock Mizzium Mortars (for as long as it is standard)

i'd add more Guttersnipe s, better for spell heavy decks

Magma Spray can only hit creatures, so, that is probably more of a sideboard item.

I don't know how you feel about it, but what about Swan Song ?

You can do a bunch of things with it;ex. Magma Spray your creature and Swan Song the spray. if you have any Guttersnipe out, you'll do 4 damage per snipe and get a 2/2 bird token(at instant speed|on their turn)

I'm not a fan of swan song, I rarely have trouble dealing with non-creature things happening to me.

What would you remove?

I would see if you can ad some draw capability

Get to the idea of drawing into your deck further. Complete the playset of Divination and see if you want Jace's Ingenuity as well. Keeping your hand well stocked with gas is very important.

In a competitive scene, U/R has been lackluster for the Standard format. The strongest archetype I can think of in the colors would be the Ensoul Artifact deck, and that's not making any real splashes. You can try and brew up a Goblin Rabblemaster deck that splashes blue. Maybe.

If you're looking for burn, playsets Eidolon of the Great Revel , Searing Blood , Stoke the Flames are very necessary. As fast as the deck can be, focus on low cost creatures and value like Young Pyromancer and Goblin Rabblemaster .

I like it but I've added more heavy burn spells for late game check out my deck i still need some tweaking too BURN and some counter
