This is an Izzet control deck that uses burn, counter spells, scry, card draw, and evasion to kill your opponent. It's only 2 colors so you don't have to buy a bunch of expensive mana fixing and is faster that way anyway.

Some key points:

AEtherling is still the best finisher in any control deck. I hate it that I have gone to the darkside of control and actually run this now but it works and it survives any removal while allowing you to hold onto counter spells instead of wasting them to save your creature. He is also good for any situation in which a non counterable removal spell is cast like Supreme Verdict or Abrupt Decay (I know Abrupt Decay wouldn't kill him anyway but it kills other creatures in this deck).

Spellheart Chimera is a decent early game finisher. After casting lots of control spells, this guy will come in for a lot of damage in the air.
