Hello all, U/B blistercoil weird + Paradise mantle combo. Really trying to advance the archetype in modern at least seen numerous re-post of same but no one taking effort to really fine tune the mechanics so here i go.
Oh yea most of deck list i first seen on daily mtg: Re Constructed archive thou i know that's not always the definitive origins.
1/10/2014- So I've come back to update my pet, moved my toolbox inside my core combo giving options against most archetypes i can board out what i don't need 2nd game making it more efficient.
My thoughts on the one of's:
Artful Dodge can be discarded from hand and still be relevant, speaking of discard Snapcaster Mage is an all star i don't have to hold anything i don't need at that moment and get it back later sometime getting double use out of pact and grapeshot.
Tainted Strike for life gain Melira/Kitchen finks can go infinite turn three so hit her with the shot and swing with infect don't even need to be for 20 (double strike-ish).
Twisted Image is great against Spellskite who can disrupt your shot & wisp.
I think Mizzium Skin is a nice alt to pact for removal counter, but pact handles things like edict. Now if any of these in combination don't apply remove for Quicken round2 to streamline the package
I run a couple of 2 cmc spells you may notice explore and perilous research i like both Explore draws two cards in conjunction with a crack land, puts two cards in the graveyard, and nets a 0 mana cost by putting land on the field. Perilous Research can cantrip a Paradise Mantle or tapped land into draw power at instant speed removing it from malicious target has a -1 mana cost thou.
