Now with Origins out, Artificer's Epiphany was easy to add since this deck has so many artifacts. Moreover, it's an instant, wich is much more efficient than
Divination
.
I've also meddled a little with the mana base and creature count to make the deck a little more efficient.
UPDATE - 04/24/2015
I dediced to go all competitive since I've had some real sucessfull matches with this deck and so I've tinkered with it a bit and made it a bit more efficient.
I've stated before that I would refrain from adding the Basilisk Collar since it's a very expensive card, but in the end it was what was missing for this deck to really shine, and so there it is. I've added a couple of Thinket Mage to help fetch for it. It can also go fetch for the Glaring Spotlight should the opponent be playing with hexproof creatures. The mage is also a body to trow at something if the Staticaster is late for the party of if Gelectrode is too busy hiding in your lab.
Invisible Stalker

Quietus Spike
is a huge source of damage, to deal a huge unblockable hit that will cut the oponent's life in half, but it's optional. You will mainly deal damage with Keranos, God of Storms, Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius or your Gelectrode. Granted, Gelectrode is really bad at dealing damage, but it will decrease your opponent's total until you can find and bring your big hitters to the board. With so much devotion going around, Keranos is likely to enter the field already as a creature, wich can strike very hard for itself.
As for counters, Mana Leak is a straight upgraded Negate. If it doesn't actually counter the spell, at least it will delay your opponent. wich could prove very usefull.
Voidmage Husher
can be used to counter a planeswalker ability if you for some reason was unable to counter it when it was entering the field. In that situation it's best if you can wait until he's ready to use his ultimate and then play the voidmage. The planeswalker will likely kill itself and do nothing.
Basilisk Collar

Izzet Staticaster
is the main combo against creature decks. It's amazing against token decks and utterly fatal to all the opposing creatures if you cast Polymorphist's Jest (even removing annoying Eldrazi and indestructible Gods this way).
Izzet Boilerworks Functions well if you have a Radiant Fountain in play. Use the fountain for mana and then play the boilerworks. It will not affect your game play that much and you will reuse the "enter the battlefield" ability of the fountain, gaining 2 life.
I've considered adding some Jace or Chandra just for fun. Any advice is appeciated.
Side
The Annul on the side deck is to make countering a little easier should you be against an artifact or enchantment deck. Also, aggro decks seems to be intense on instants so Dispel. Counterflux is necessary against other control decks and Void Snare is there should your opponent be able to sneak thinks through your counters.
