jace memory adept mill vol. 2

Modern

Garulz

Sideboard

A mill deck inspired by jessetaverne's Garruk's Infernal Rites.

The key is to mill the enemy to the ground. The heroe of this deck is Hedron Crab a opening hand without one is suboptimal.

WHY?! Garruk, Primal Hunter in a mill deck??

-Garruk has some new very nice abilities ,the beasts he can produce are nice to protect himself or Jace, Memory Adept , but his second ability is what really hurts in this deck and this is because of Jace's Erasure . The -2 ability of Garruk is ideally used when u got a Primeval Titan or a big Bonehoard on the board, but it's also ok to use when ur biggest creature is a 3/3 beast, it's still a 3card mill with Jace's Erasure and its common that u got Jace's Erasure double active.

why did you add Bonehoard & Primeval Titan?

-Bonehoard grows insane in a mill deck , ok its situational, but i had a couple of matches when he got out as a 5/5 or even bigger. The Primeval Titan is mainly used with the Hedron Crab ,its nice to look up for 2 fetchies ,and milling 12 cards(24 with double Hedron Crab) and he does thin out my library of course. Both of these are best used with Garruks -2 an they are also nice blocker ofc.

Why Rites of Flourishing ?

- Rites of Flourishing is awesome for this deck it has great synergy with Hedron Crab and with Jace's Erasure
