This is a build I've been thinking around in my head for awhile now and it finally came to fruition a few days back..

The only win-con's are Jace, Memory Adept and Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver

Jace lets me put them on a pretty fast clock when paired with instant speed removal and board sweepers. The same can be said with Ashiok, it can exile key cards from the opponent and potentially a creature for me, if need be..

Another good strategy I'm becoming fond of is the main-board play-set of Thoughtseize and Duress . Always taking out key cards or disrupting their line of play is certainly crucial in a "grindy" deck like this.

The last two notable cards I'll mention are the play-set of Detention Sphere and the pair of Crypt Incursion . Detention Sphere is a great answer to any problematic non-land permanent(s). Additionally, Crypt Incursion helps me go late game or puts a sad look on my opponents face when i'm at 60 life :)

As for the sideboard i add and additional pair of Drown in Sorrow for aggro match-ups, Pithing Needle for Planeswalker's , and Gainsay Dark Betrayal Glare of Heresy for colour appropriate matches.
