Whats your main win con??

The Nighthowler usually takes the win everytime, if not the Traumatize and Jace, Memory Adept generally mill the oppenents deck out in six to eight rounds.

My Master of Waves card is mostly defense, works great with the Nightviel Specter But i have considered replacing the Master of Waves with more mill proned cards.

+1 For being a returning player. The Master of Waves is something I wouldn't put in. If you're finding yourself short on life, try Crypt Incursion ing yourself. Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver a solid card. Check my Mono-Blue Devotion deck out, +1 it if you want to.

I went for Duskmantle Guildmage in my mill deck (Mill 2 Kill) which turns mill into an offensive weapon :-)

Do not underestimate the power of crypt incursion. I run it in my side board and last FNM I put it into the main deck. I milled half of the kids deck but my life was in the single digits. I exiled 10 creatures for 30 life and the kid scooped.

I definately want More Consuming Aberration which I got two yesterday as well as the two Phenax, God of Deception . I like the Nighthowler mostly because its cheaper to cast, and builds up off of all graveyards. I really like the Whip of Erebos for my lifelink lifegain. The Crypt Incursion is a cool card to, I will consider it if I pick any up. Thanks for all the comments my strategy is definately evolving as I get more new cards!

From my limited experience a deck that does one thing well is always better than a deck that tries to do everything. My general rule of thumb is to ask myself, keeping within the 60 card limit, if I had the full play set of 4 of a card, what other cards would I drop? Any cards that would be droped, get rid of completely, if you wouldn't drop anything for that card then it gets removed completely. Consistency within decks is king.

I agree with making my deck aim towards one thing, and that is too mill, and to feed off the mill. To go with cards that I have 4 of, and that all have the same goal!

This mill deck is getting pretty nasty to fight against! I love Traumatize ing people!

If you really want to piss people off, add in a few Meletis Charlatan and then copy your Traumatize . You could even copy a Doom Blade or Thoughtseize .

The Elixir of Immortality is my only savior against this deck aside from having a counterspell deck myself. It definitely sucks to get milled out! Mad Props to your mill Deck Bro. It's tough as hell to beat!

Psychic Spiral usually works pretty well in mill decks, even as just a 1 or 2-of because you obviously want to play it later game and the more cards in your graveyard the better!

March 24, 2014 10:17 a.m.

((paranoid delusions)) can be vicious when cyphered onto a creature that's mill effect is triggered by untapping like the new "Inspired" ability. Possibly ((lazav, dimir mastermind)) for a different approach on synergy. This deck is sick though. I really like the MIll Deck making a come back. I will make one. There just seems to be the right cards rotating through Standard right now. How has the deck been playing?

March 24, 2014 10:33 a.m.

If you play Crypt Ghast combine it with Realmwright so any Land is a Swamp !
