Golgari doing what golgari does best - live, die, then live again.

  • Ramp mana with tiny green elves who will sooner or later die (often by your own hands).
  • Fill the yard with said tiny green elves and Stinkweed Imp, or just let the game go on and the yard will practically fill itself.
  • Have fun with your creatures.
  • Finish off the entire board with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord + Lord of Extinction (or anything else twice with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed) if you haven't beaten everyone to death yet.

This deck relies on things dying, which is prevalent in EDH anyway, so board-wipes and removal usually leaves Jarad unphased, sometimes it's even beneficial because you can just sac your entire board with good conscience. Then bring everything back again. This deck is however weak against yardhate AND is a tempting target for other players who will rob your graveyard and library (which is why Traverse the Ulvenwald + Homeward Path is your friend).

This is a creature heavy deck, and I'd like to keep it that way because it's easier to bring them back from the grave and many things benefit from my mass grave. So please think twice before suggesting cards that are not creatures!
