Jareth is commander that lends itself for a very defensive strategy. This in turn makes the Monarch and Initiative mechanics very good - since it's very hard for my opponents to get them. So the strategy for this deck is to prevent my opponents from hitting me, while profiting from being the Monarch and having the Initiative.

Giants
The deck has a very light Giant theme (I run six of 'm..), which makes Realm-Cloaked Giant pretty cool.

Initiative:
The Undercity gives me a lot of options and different way to gain advantage over my opponents. I have two cards that can give me the Initiative White Plume Adventurer and card:Goliath Giant. Rasaad yn Bashir is good without Initiative, but even better with it!

The Monarch:
Begin the Monarch nets me an extra card each turn, which is pretty good in a mono white deck! I run four cards that can make me the Monarch.

Vigilance:
Jareth, Leonine Titan is a superb creature to block. But I also want to use it to swing and win games. This means I will give it Vigilance, so it can do both! A shout-out to Brave the Sands, which gives my creatures Vigilance and let them block an extra creatures (which is something I want to do too!).

Voltron:
However this deck is very defensive, at some point I need to win the game. Jareth is a very viable commander for a Voltron strategy, which means I play a lot of equipments and auras to boost him and cards that support this strategy such as Kemba, Kha Enduring.

Pariah-effects:
Jareth is an excellent creature to redirect damage to that is dealt to me. With cards like Pariah.

Politics
Politics is part of my plan to stay alive. I've got multiple political cards in my toolbox to pursuade my opponents to attack someone else - in the case my defenses aren't enough persuasion. card:Secret Rendevouz for example, three cards is no joke. That kind of stuff will make you some good allies. Duelist's Heritage is another fun card, I can give Jareth double strike as well as one of my opponent their creatures.
