Basically the idea is to give Jaya a source of indestructible (e.g., Darksteel Plate) and a source of lifelink (e.g., Basilisk Collar) and than use her third ability to victory ( Inferno ).

Deathtouch turns Jaya's second ability ( Incinerate ) into a mono-red Terminate and her third ability into a mono-red Day of Judgment. Self-recursion keeps cards in your hand while you use Jaya's abilities (Squee, Goblin Nabob). The color change cards (e.g., Distorting Lens ) are for her first ability ( Pyroblast ). Nothing like vindicating for only one mana. Creatures like Ashling the Pilgrim can benefit from the same equipment as Jaya in a pinch and function as alternate win conditions. Hoarding Dragon and Godo, Bandit Warlord let you tutor for the voltron pieces you need.

Everything else is just control and card advantage.

This deck also works really well politically in a sort of gunboat diplomacy way. You're constantly broadcasting that you can wipe the board (Jaya B, Ashling the Pilgrim, Scourge of Kher Ridges , etc) if someone pisses you off so use that to get people to do what you want them to while keeping a Comet Storm or whatever up your sleeve to betray them as soon as they're in burn range and no longer useful. It works pretty well even when people know its coming just because no one wants to lose their board state.
