StopShot Sorry for the late reply- Aura Fracture seems pretty niche. I don't really ever have to deal with someone dropping a Contamination or Back to Basics like you mentioned. Maybe if it's becoming a problem for you, add something like Duergar Hedge-Mage to your maindeck. It's a recurable creature for Alesha, doesn't eat any lands, and also hits artifacts.

Hello! Let me start by saying this is a wonderful stax deck. And I personally enjoy it. Though, on the combo side I have some questions. How does your Pyrite combo work? From my understanding LED only gives 3 of one mana. So using Auriok requires white. Unless you are using it for infinite draw. Also how would Ballista work as a replacement? I don't see a way too give it the 2 +1/+1 counters it needs. I just don't understand. So if I'm wrong please correct me. I'm thinking of creating an Alesha deck based on this one. But, more regeneration combo. So if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them. Thanks so much.

@Enkou666, I can help explain the combo to you. Each time you crack the LED you get 3 white mana and two of it goes to the ability, so each cycle you generate 1 extra white mana. Let's say we continue the cycle until we have 1 million white mana. At this point all the excess white mana can be used to recur the lion's eye diamond, so by paying 2 white mana already in our pool we can cycle out 3 red mana in exchange, and since we have a million white mana we can continue this cycle generating more red mana then we have white mana. Do note if the user starts running low on white mana they can just repeat the same first cycle to have 1 million white mana all over again along with their even larger pool of red mana. This process can also be done for blue, black, and green mana as well.

StopShot OK. That makes a lot of sense. Thanks! I still don't understand Walking Ballista but, the base is there.

Enkou666 So you know how StopShot explained the process of generating infinite mana with LED and then using it with Pyrite Spellbomb? Well you could also just pump that mana into an infinitely big Walking Ballista and ping everyone to death.

Gotcha. So combo to drop a win con. Which makes sense. Sorry for the need of the explanation but, I appreciate it!

Thoughts on running Aura Fracture? I placed it in my deck to help preemptively take out Contamination and Back to Basics effects but the power to remove enchantments without worry of counter-spells or needing to hold mana up seems really powerful to me especially when you can feed it excess lands you don't need.
