Looks pretty sweet good sir. I am not sure you really need that third Elspeth though. I think if I were to make this deck I would drop that third Elspeth for an extra Jace's Ingenuity . Also, I'm not a huge fan of Crippling Chill , and I think that I would rather run 4 Dissolve and 2 Dissipate instead of the even 3-3 split. Otherwise looks awesome!

Crippling Chill is good for the draw effect, but I would agree that you need more card draw, more Jace's Ingenuity

I like the deck, seems like you are really banking on the board wipes to come your way. Would you take a look at my American Control deck please and tell me what you think: American't Hear You Over All This Freedom

-1 Elspeth, Sun's Champion

-1 Dissipate

+1 Jace's Ingenuity

+1 Dissolve

I'm not a fan of Steam Augury . I'd rather straight up draw cards, or give the opponent the choice of splitting the piles, like Fact or Fiction .

Thanks for all the feedback everyone!

I would switch up last breath with something like magma spray if your using it just for the exile effect since its one cheaper and no draw back or Lightning strike if its early removal, and can be damage to the face when needed.

Last Breath hits a lot more than Lightning Strike or Magma Spray . For example, I can get rid of Courser of Kruphix or Nyx-Fleece Ram and many others.

I'm debating on mainboarding Erase to get rid of Banishing Light or Courser of Kruphix

What do u think about Chandra from m15, and add 2 banishing lights?

Chandra, Pyromaster is pretty good in a midrange-y shell. But as for pure control, I don't feel like she should be in here. She just turns into "+1: spark jolt" and her 0 ability will whiff every time. I'll either hit land or a Counterspell.

I'm comfortable running only 2 Banishing Light . Turn three is pretty cramped with Dissolve and Anger of the Gods both coming online. I'd rather hold up the mana to counter something than exile something that was played on turns 0-3. With running 2 Banishing Light , I hopefully won't draw it early in the game where it will be dead, but I will draw it later where I can use it to remove a major threat.

Thanks for the suggestions! :)

You need more card draw. I would lose 2 Disdainful Stroke because it does not hit many cards and the ones it does hit you should have dissolve mana up. I would put in some Jace's Ingenuity and a side board Resolute Archangel for the life gain against midrange matches

Disdainful Stroke is almost as good as Dissolve . Almost everything you'd be casting a Dissolve on, Disdainful Stroke also hits.

While I do agree with more card draw, I don't think Jace's Ingenuity is the way to go. Dig Through Time is much much better.

I'd drop the Erase from the mainboard and add 2 more Dig Through Time .

I love having mainboard Disdainful Stroke right beside Dissolve . I get to counter for 2-CMC and leave mana open to burn a creature.

I'm going to add Dig Through Time as soon as I get my hands on two more copies. But for now, I really like having mainboard Erase . I've never played a match where it wasn't useful, whether it removed and aura, Banishing Light or Courser of Kruphix , it was always a powerful 1-CMC answer to a lot of pesky cards.

I just got 2 more copies of Dig Through Time . I replaced the main board Erase with those.

I really Like what you have going on here. Have you considered Fated Conflagration in the side for other control decks?

I've thought about it, but I've noticed it's really hard to get RRR for the cost. In fact, there are some games where I have to delay Anger of the Gods and extra turn just because I don't have access to RR.

Against another control deck, I've noticed that if I'm on the play, I need to be aggressive. This is where I use my sideboard to turn into "Jeskai Wins". But if I'm on the draw, I need to be a little more controlling and play more efficient cards. I typically sideboard in Narset, Enlightened Master and Brimaz, King of Oreskos . Possibly Stoke the Flames if I feel the extra burn is a strong match-up.

Hmm... Makes sense. I run a Temur control Deck that has tons of red sources, including Xenagos. So That is not as much of an Issue. I also play a much slower control camge than i think you wiould be in many situations. the versatility here is pretty fantastic,. +1. Check out my Jeskai Trigger Happy ( HELP) Deck and tell me what you think.
