Edit I know that there is a Jeskai list currently going around, but it's not my style. Please do not simply give me the recommendations to transform my list into that one.

I Do My Testing On A Website Called Untap.in, Which Allows Me To Tinker With My Lists For Free As Well As Try Out New Cards Before They Come Out. My Matches Are Best Of Three, But I Will Only Include The Actual Game Counts. If A Player Concedes The Second Game Before We Begin Turn 1, Then I Will Label It As "Drop".

Playing a control deck means playing into the late game, not simply to stop your opponent from playing the game. Where most players assume "control" means controlling your opponent, it really just means that you have control of the game in general. You want to be able to set the pace for the game to get to your late game. The late game is the ultimate goal of the control player, not simply to get their opponent to concede from their infinite supply of counterspells. Where an aggro deck plays one mana-efficient threat after another for the fastest victory, a control deck is looking to answer an opponent's threats and make the game go long. In that long game, the control deck uses card-drawing spells to out-resource an opponent, clearing the way to play a large, game-ending threat that the opponent can't deal with. I've seen so many lists that don't run a game ender. The crucial thing about playing a deck like this is that you have a way to win the game. You can't just play cards and hope that your opponent concedes out of pure frustration.
