Sandman1278 I agree, Foundry Street Denizen is awesome with Goblin Rabblemaster as he get +2+0 if you play rabblemaster main phase 1.

Foundry Street Denizen over Borderland Marauder and Banishing Light over Void Snare

Personally I'm loving Monastery Swiftspear in burn decks. 1/2 with haste and prowess when most of your spells aren't creatures has tested very well for me.

Thanks for the suggestions! I do like Foundry Street Denizen over Borderland Marauder , but I am not sure about Banishing Light replacing Void Snare . I really like how Void Snare is a one mana answer to anything, making it a great tempo play.

What do people think of using Satyr Firedancer and Deflecting Palm in this deck? I do want a few more two drops over one drops to even out the curve a but, and the interaction between these two cards is interesting. I am also considering Searing Blood to deal with morph creatures, but the double red cost may be too restrictive.

Searing Blood is a must have in burn decks. You can kill two morphs with one Satyr Firedancer and that card. Also, where has Deflecting Palm been all my life?

After playtesting I'm not sure if Satyr Firedancer is worth it. Sure, it does work, but it's a lightning rod for removal and just feels like a greedy play. Should I keep it in?

Kiora_Fan-01: I already have two copies of Searing Blood .

have you considered running Monastery Swiftspear ? she's another solid red one drop, that triggers Foundry Street Denizen, she also has haste and gains bonuses from playing your other spells.

Keep in mind: Krenko's Command isn't Standard Legal, the KTK equivalent is Hordeling Outburst which gives you an additional goblin for one more red symbol.

Kiora_Fan-01: Why is Deflecting Palm bad? I've found that it works really well to deal surprise damage to my opponent.
Jaya_student: I have considered Monastery Swiftspear , but if I included another one-drop red creature it would likely be Firedrinker Satyr . Two power is far more valuable than Prowess in my opinion.
Energycore: Krenko's Command is included only to enable token generation while using the TappedOut playtest function. This is noted in the deck description.

Duly noted, Gorgosaurusrex. Skimming is dangerous.

Deflecting Palm is far from bad. It's incredibly useful against green monsters and its variants. Go ahead and swing with that 10/10. No, I won't be blocking. PALM. It's also funny when an opposing 10/2 Rabblemaster is swinging in. Granted there are some matchups where it's dead, like when the opponent isn't doing credible amounts of damage from any one source. But that's why it's a one-of I'm sure.

Total cards in deck: 61. This doesn't look like you put much thought into it.

monu999: If you read the description you will see that Krenko's Command has been included as an extra card in the deck to enable token generation while playtesting. It doesn't look like you put much thought into your comment.

Agreed Seeker is way too powerful not to have in here.

I've tailored this deck to beat Abzan Midrange game 1. Seeker of the Way wasn't pulling its weight so I replaced it with Disdainful Stroke. I do like Seeker in other matchups but my local meta is roughly 60% Abzan Midrange, 15% Jeskai Combo, 15% Jeskai Tempo, and 10% janky homebrews so I've really liked having Disdainful Stroke main. Stopping Siege Rhino and Dig Through Time game 1 is very rewarding.

I have to agree, stopping Abzan game 1 is extremely important right now. I see no issues with Disdainful Stroke mainboard. After a few weeks of nothing but Rabble Red/Mardu blitz, my local meta is at least 70% Abzan right now. And why not? It's seriously good and 50% of the top 8's are some sort of Abzan build so there you go. I have been tailoring my Standard decks to combat Abzan game 1 as well. Easier said than done for sure.
November 25, 2014 10:18 a.m.
If you want to be totally devoted to beating Abzan game one, I'd consider trying to fit the 2 Suspension Field from the side in the main, probably instead of 2 Magma Jet. I play Abzan and just tested our decks, and in my experience (~10 games) if we both drew reasonably and you could remove my turn 3 Courser/Brimaz, you had a good chance at winning. And 4 Stoke wasn't consistent enough for how important it was to remove those creatures.
If you wanna talk about the match up at all, let me know.
Great deck, looks tons of fun.
+1

CrovaxTheCursed: Our metas seem to be similar. Most of the aggro players have died out because of the increasing number of midrange players (Abzan and Temur). Disdainful Stroke is relevant against everything but aggro.
SSJRanulf: Thanks for the feedback! Would you link your deck so I can do some testing myself? I think I will try running 2 Suspension Field main and see how that goes.
I've considered dropping the 2x Stormbreath Dragon and 1x Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker to lower my curve and enable me to go down to 23 land. Any thoughts on this? I could add 4x Seeker of the Way with the opened slots.

maybe Foundry Street Denizen over firedrinker saytr?almost all your creatures are red and the goblin tokens ensure a 3/1 most turns
