The double white pip makes it awkward, I would say you would have to take out 2 Stormbreaths to put Exemplars in.

I'd rather keep the deck focused on red so I can easily cast Stormbreath Dragon and Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker. Honestly I'm not too impressed with Ojutai Exemplars.
I will be playing Roast, Surge of Righteousness, Rending Volley, and maybe Commune With Lava. Any other suggestions from the new set?

Oh I thought you wanted to put Exemplars in. I don't think it fits in here at all. Well, In my jeskai deck, I will be adding in Artful maneuver, Silkwrap and Radiant Purge.

I would cut the 2 Dig Through Times and add 2 more Outpost Siege. Outpost Siege is just so powerful. Control decks are just dead if they can't answer it. It makes shure that you always got something to do. Sometimes dig just shows you bad cards. I know that Outpost Siege also sometimes does that. You just get another go next turn.
What about Brimaz, King of Oreskos? I really like him against aggro, and he is also just a very good thread.
Nice deck! My standard deck is also jeskai tempo. +1

mtgplayer100 I think he is fine with two digs and two siege's. to get 7 cards, it would take Siege 4 turns, where dig does it as soon as it's cast. If it's a bad 7 cards, then that's 7 cards you won't have to draw the following turn. Not to mention Siege + Dig is also pretty awesome.

I've tested the deck with more Outpost Siege and I think 2 is the correct number with 2 Dig Through Time. Siege isn't a card I ever want to draw more than one of, and even though it's a great card it's a really slow turn 4 play.
I tried Brimaz, King of Oreskos but 1WW was too difficult to get consistently on turn 3. I'd need to significantly overhaul the manabase to support it and I want to keep the focus on red for Stormbreath Dragon as a finisher.
Radiant Purge will find it's way into my sideboard. That card is really good!

Monastery Mentor and Myth Realized would go good in here. Never underestimate the power of 2+ Monastery Mentors on the field at one time. Monastery Swiftspear is another good creature, and although they look meager, Defiant Strike and Gods Willing are pretty good creatures cards.

Gorgosaurusrex is everything updated on the list of how your running it at fnm still?
April 12, 2015 2:50 p.m.

I haven't updated this list with cards from DTK yet. I imagine I'll add some cards like Roast, Twin Bolt, and Anticipate in the main or side. I haven't played at FNM since the DTK prerelease unfortunately.

how's Ojutai's Command been for you? I have my own Jeskai Midrangeish deck, but I've decided to go more the dragons route with 4x Thunderbreak Regent
my main problem matchup seems to be Abzan Aggro though, as I need to land a threat on T2 or T3, then just have all answers to their stuff (strike, stance, stoke, glare, disdainful stroke) or be able to outrace them which is a problem cause of Rhino. How has this matchup been for you?

Updated to include 4x Thunderbreak Regent and Draconic Roar. These cards have been doing serious work!

Well the biggest things that I lose are Stormbreath Dragon, Goblin Rabblemaster, and Stoke the Flames. Rotation is several months away so there is no point in worrying about it now!

I would really like suggestions on what cards from Origins to add! I plan on taking this deck to Games Day but am not sure what changes should be made.
July 10, 2015 12:30 p.m.
I've seen lists having Harbinger of the Tides cause it can be brought back with Ojutai's Command, but I have yet to see it in action so not sure how good it is.

I do like Harbinger of the Tides as it if a huge tempo swing but is hard to get on turn 2.
What do you guys think about Clash of Wills?
July 10, 2015 2:09 p.m.
I think holding up that much mana in this kind of deck would be hard, Disdainful Stroke and Negate are so good in these decks (and in general) because they're so mana efficient. Clash of Wills is more for a dedicated control deck I think.
July 10, 2015 2:41 p.m.
Gorgosaurusrex says... #19
I'd keep 1-2 Clash of Wills in the sideboard, if anything. I already have Disdainful Stroke and Negate in the side. Clash would be used as a tempo play on turn 2-4 if I'm on the draw. It's not a great late game spell so I probably won't use it.
Hallowed Moonlight would be interesting against decks with Genesis Hydra, Chord of Calling, Deathmist Raptor, or Hornet Queen. It's definitely not worth a mainboard slot but I could see it being a useful 1-2 of in the sideboard. Swift Reckoning is also interesting.
July 10, 2015 2:51 p.m.
I playtested this against my deck and I won 2-0. If you would like to playtest it yourself, U/R Time's Ticking. Good deck though. I love the Mantis Riders, it makes me want to splash white in my deck.

Jsmith94: To keep up with midrange decks I need my deck to be resilient (Stratus Dancer, Soulfire Grand Master, Ojutai's Command, etc). Jeskai decks can't just rely on Goblin Rabblemaster and Jeskai Charm to win games anymore, though I wish they could!
8bitMick: That's interesting, as I just tested our decks against each other and my deck won 2-0. When I played your deck I had a hard time getting double blue by turn 3 for Dissolve and Dissipate, I would highly recommend 4 Temple of Epiphany and 2 more Swiftwater Cliffs. Dig Through Time would also be great in your deck. Thanks for the playtest data!
July 27, 2015 12:08 p.m.
I recommend taking a look at this deck that is having some pretty significant success in a solid testing gauntlet. Imho, your deck just looks confused. What is the plan? You can't call it a tempo deck when you run 5 drops and 26 lands, make up your mind on what this decks plan be. Do you want to kill them earlier or draw the game out? Figure that out, and cut accordingly. Good luck, hopefully you can take something out of the linked decklist.

DMR: After playing in an FNM level event with this deck last night I realized that it is too slow. It's more of a Midrange than a Tempo deck, and Abzan does Midrange way better. It held its own against many other decks but when I can't burn out control decks I have a problem.
I think I'll be going the burn route (Jeskai Charm, Stoke the Flames, Exquisite Firecraft, etc) soon, so stay tuned for updates!

Deck has been updated! I decided to go the Jeskai Ascendancy tokens route.
This will be my deck for Game Day this weekend, any suggestions for sideboard? Right now I'm planning on boarding into control.

I don't think Ojutai Exemplars will replace Seeker of the Way. Seeker is an incredibly valuable turn 2 play, which this deck needs. The Exemplars could probably make it into this deck as a 1 or 2-of, though.
