A Jeskai Control deck using a couple of the spoiled cards from Amonkhet!
Esper and Grixis have gotten better mana with the new lands but I think that the Jeskai mana is superior, also the only new control toys have come in white, blue and red (in my opinion) with cards like Pull from Tomorrow, Essence Scatter, Magma Spray, a couple split cards, Sweltering Suns, Gideon of the Trials, Cast Out (!!!) and Glorious End. I know that including black would let me play Disintergration, Murder, Scarab Feast etc. but I think Cast Out will work as removal/exile.
There is one strange card that I am hellbent on using; Glorious End. Glorious End with new Gideon has a kind of psuedo-counter/psuedo-time walk feel and while I know that Glorious End by itself isn't a good card in a control deck, together with Gideon and Gearhulk it could be a game ender.
Pull From Tomorrow is also a card i am excited about! A lite version of Sphinx's Rev is appreciated since there aren't really any good mana sinks in control at the moment.
Magma Spray in the sideboard functions as an exile removal against scrounger and the plethora of new zombie cards that will (most likely) see play. At least some, and it's better to come prepared.
I am also thinking about using Commit / Memory but a) it's not out on tappedout yet and b) I still don't know how good it will be. But I WILL try it.
