Jeskai's Hunka-Hunka Burnin' Bug Humper (Standard MTG Deck)

Sooo, this is the first deck I've built, as well as my first here. I built it in conjunction with my boyfriend, who has years more experience with this than I. This was more of a learning experience for me, but it's turned out better than we both thought! I haven't taken it to FNM yet, but I am this week, so I'll post results here.

The deck evolved from an idea of Jeskai Heroic. Now, it's just meant to be super trigger-happy, using burn spells to trigger Prowess and Jeskai Ascendancy. Even without an Ascendancy, this deck tends to work out fine. Either way, the point is to make your creatures grow while you're hurting the opponent and their creatures: it's a win-win.

FNM Results #1 — Feb. 21, 2015

FIRST FNM RESULTS: 3-2, 10th place of 36. I didn't take notes, so there's not many specific details I remember. I won against 4-Color Control, barely edging out. I got the mirror match against Jeskai Tokens after a hard fought battle, mostly in an Ascendancy race. Mono Red kicked my ass hard and there was nothing really I could do about it. Sultai Control was the same way. Finally, after Deflecting Palm-ing a Crater's Claws coming at me for 14 damage, I beat a RG combo deck.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to play it next week because it's being rebuilt for a tournament on Saturday. It returns March 6th. c:
