Not having much trouble getting vehicles out with the Veteran Motorist scrying, Depala, Pilot Exemplar dwarf/vehicle filtering ability. Madcap Experiment is just another outlet to get more on the board.

Madcap Experiment primary use will be for when I have no vehicles in hand and have open mana to use on him to grab one and put it onto the board without paying for it. Paired with Speedway Fanatic and that can be a nice move depending on which is grabbed like Renegade Freighter Fleetwheel Cruiser or the big boy Skysovereign, Consul Flagship

ya i actually kind of like that only card since you could grab the big boy and place him kinda like a collected company, and then take out 1 sky skiff and put either one more flaggship or smuggler and if it were me i would put in one more veteran motoryst and take out 1 gearshift ace that VM i think is a very useful card for this deck more so then ace

Veteran Motorist is very useful for this build and i've been thinking along the same lines. Gearshift Ace has made some huge plays when he's out though. Gearshift Ace + Fleetwheel Cruiser on turn 4 or Gearshift Ace + Renegade Freighter if Speedway Fanatic is out on turn 4 is brutal too lol

Ya i am liking it more and more this could be a strong but yet actually fun deck to play and the only other card im ehh about is the wielding sparks i like it but maybe only 2 copies of it idk even about that since you will mainly use it later and since you have 4 declarations already and since flaggship can be dropped in for dmg like that and will benifit you more in the longrun then the sparks

The Welding Sparks are in for cheap big upside removal. For 3 mana I can get 3 to an infinite amount of damage at instant speed to take out any threats on the board depending on how many vehicles I have out. You're also right about it being a mid to late play because of the reason I just stated. Declaration in stone is my early to mid game removal depending on their priority creatures. Welding Sparks when used right can take out any standard staple creature in the meta at the moment.

I thought about Ovalchase Dragster and really wanted it. If added though I'd have to in crease my number of lands for the amount of 4 drops and possibly cut my Speedway Fanatic I'll give it a look and see how I can incorporate it because it's a great card indeed.

I wanted to make a similar deck. But I put in way more creatures. Don't you have trouble crewing your vehicles?
Looks really cool

Yes thank you for putting oval chase dragster in

Crassco Crewing isn't much of an issue and when it is an "issue" I normally have Depala, Pilot Exemplar out already filtering my hand with dwarves and vehicles to keep my board state pretty healthy. All it takes is to have her out and a few dwarves and if i'm short handed on vehicles Toolcraft Exemplar with 3 vehicles on the board is a monster. Veteran Motorist and Gearshift Ace can end games on their own with just 1 or two vehicles out with their own respective crewing buffs.
Vampire_Lord Ovalchase Dragster is a major play. Either take 6+ to the face depending on my board state or you block it. Against token builds that will chump block it I'd probably sideboard it out and pull in some form of removal but against any other deck it'll stay in the mainboard. Aligned with Depala, Pilot Exemplar +1/+1 and Veteran Motorist crew buff of +1/+1 putting it up to an 8/3 and some overkill with a first strike buff making it a trample/first strike behemoth from Gearshift Ace it's even harder to deal with outside of hard removal.

How aggressive is this deck? I am still trying to find a deck for kaladesh and I just want to get all the info on this deck It looks really solid from me

From my experience so far turn 4 to turn 6 wins are a normal thing (depending on draw obviously) so I'd say it's fairly aggressive at most times

Very cool deck! Love the addition of Inventor's Fair and will now have to seriously consider it for my deck.
How does Madcap Experiment work for you? On average, how much dmg to you take from it? Also, have you had much success with Start Your Engines? I've found that with my deck I rarely have enough Vehicles on the board to make it effective by turn 4... I also usually have a better way to spend mana by that point.
Upvoted the deck. Still love it!

Madcap Experiment has worked well for me. The most damage I've taken is 4 but on average I take 2 maybe 3 so it isn't bad at all. Start Your Engines seems to always show up in my hand when I have 3 or 4 vehicles on the board. I never try and play it on curve because it gains value the later in game I can hold it depending on what dwarves I have out at the time. Thanks for the upvote!

Have you thought about throwing in Hanweir Battlements for the haste potential?

Less Red or White mana is scary in a dual color deck, but the haste potential with 1-2 Battlements has been great!

I wouldn't play that card in this deck. I don't want to spread the mana base thin and if you play it its almost a given to play the other half of it for the chance to meld which throws the theme and all around game off for me.
October 4, 2016 12:16 p.m.
I think this deck has too many vehicles and not enough pilots to be as effective as it could be. Yes, Fleetwheel Cruiser comes into play as a creature for a turn and you have a Start Your Engines in the deck too, but besides that, remove the creatures you have and the vehicles can't attack. Smuggler's Copter is a great card, but you don't get such good value piloting it with relatively powerful creatures. Perhaps Fairgrounds Warden, Thraben Inspector or servos would be better suited for that.

I plan to keep the 1 in the sideboard. 4 is always a big help especially with all the zombie and human token decks running around. So it'll always be a good option to side in when I need it.
